Name big games you've never played. We're talking BIG big, otherwise it defeats the point of admitting it. No "well... I never played... hmmm... ace combat" posts.

As for myself... I've never played a Pokemon game. I've never played Ninja Gaiden. I've never played Chrono Trigger :(

I'm sure there's more. If I'm not to filled with shame I might admit them...

Nah, I just lack the willpower to keep playing. I don't have time to game everyday, and that really screws with the flow of RPGs. After a few days, do I really want to go back to that boring battle system, or play some Mega Man?

- Final Fantasy VII (omgwtf? :|)
- Any 2D Zelda games (omgwtf2? :|)
- Any 2D Metroid games
- all other Final Fantasy games except VIII/IX
- Nights/Panzer Dragoon games/Phantasy Star games/lots of Sega stuff (especially genesis games)
- Warcraft (any of them)
- GTA: VC
- Half-Life (I have the game, but never installed it)
- Madden games
- Lots of other newer semi-big games too (Ninja Gaiden, KOTOR, Splinter Cell, Xenosaga, SSX series, many more)

I am sure there are lots more that I can't think of right now too.

Ninja Gaiden - Haven't gotten around to it yet, but I shall! I hope.
KOTOR - Got sick of rpgs a long time ago.
FFX - See above.
Zelda Wind Waker - I dunno why, I just...don't want to.
Socom 1&2 - Heard it was crap if you've played a lot of squad based shooters on pc (which I have).
Zelda Four Swords (gamecube) - I would buy it if you could play 4 player without needing 4 gbas. Damn you Nintendo and your gimmicky crap.

Played everything posted so far, other than Panzer Saga, Burning Rangers, Disgaea, and Septerra Core, though I don't think any of those could really be described as "BIG" titles.

The only thing that really fits the description that I haven't played is Majora's Mask, though I'll be remedying that soon, probably.

As for me, the only really big time title I can think of off the top of my head is Half Life / Counterstrike. And that I really couldn't care less about.

I mean, there were some major Genesis titles I missed out on, I guess, but nothing I really care about much. I guess I largely missed out on the Phantasy Star series (the non-online one), but I've tried to play Phantasy Star II on a few different ocassions and found it just too ancient to even play (which is not usually the way I feel about classic titles, but for whatever reason, Phantasy Star has always struck me as being especially archaic).

I have played almost no games that were released post 2002. I buy all the games I want, the second they are released, and then I shelve them until there turn comes up. My current backlog sits at around 40. I just finished Metroid Prime (all I can say is kickass) yesterday. Next up would be Shenmue II or perhaps Rygar.

In direct answer two the threads main question, I will play or have played every good, big game ever made, it's just a matter of when I can get around to it.

Yes, sometimes I'm ashamed of myself. Then I start to think about all the games I _have_ played, and the feeling goes away.

I would never feel shame for not playing a hyped game. So what if it's got a huge marketing campaign? I should feel embarrassed because I played Robot Alchemic Drive instead of the latest Final Fantasy? As if. If I was interested in it, I'd play it.

I've never played, nor seen, an actual SEGA Saturn much less the games.

I've never played Onimusha, Devil May Cry or any Resident Evil game.
