That realization when Chibi-Robo is getting more love and care than Metroid.
Well, love comes in many ways.
We still don't know much about the future of Metroid and many has voiced their disappointment at this Chibi Robo being 2D, so many actually see this game as "hate". :p

I liked that new footage. Btw, the cost of the game I've seen around is the normal price for a 3ds game, including the amiibo, so I'd say it's a good value proposal

Can anyone explain what exactly the CR amiibo does in the game? Do you need it to access the figurine showcase?

Finally, the overview video ends with a short amiibo overview, showing what you can do with the Chibi-Robo! amiibo. It allows you to transform into Super Chibi-Robo once per day, level up Chibi-Robo, unlock some figures via the capsule machine, but also get some extra stages, and more.

Compatible amiibo: Chibi Robo! (you can become Super Chibi-Robo!, save your scores, and unlock the Gashapon machine); any amiibo: unlock a special figure of Chibi-Robo! imitating the pose of the character scanned, that you get via the Gashapon machine).

Thanks to the compatiblity chart on Nintendo’s website, we have a rundown of the amiibo features in Chibi Robo! Zip Lash:

– Chibi Robo! amiibo: get Super Chibi Robo!, unlocks the Toy Capsule Machine;
– all amiibo: get coins to buy items;
– all amibo (except Pikachu, Lucario, Charizard, Greninja, Jigglypuff, Sonic, Pac-man and Mega Man): you can get special figurines of Chibi Robo doing the pose of the amiibo via the Toy Capsule Machine.

Nintendo Life posted a new game play video a couple of days ago, and the video opens with some pretty positive impressions.

Also, what's with the lack of reviews? We're only 2 days out.

That's cool, I'll have to check out the video.

Yeah, also is there an OT for this on GAF that is being made?

I can't decide if I want to buy that Amiibo bundle or not. It would be my first Amiibo, but I don't think my 3DS/2DS can use amiibo anyway, it would just be a cool thing to have.

I want to read a review or two before I decide on getting this or not. 2D platformers are kind of my favorite genre though.

Pre-loaded and ready, I haven't been as hype as I am right now for a long while. Is there going to be an OT for this?

Remember everyone, if you don't buy this, Chibi-Robo runs out of energy PERMANENTLY! No pressure though.

Yeah, TheMoon has it covered.

Giant Bomb has a short Quicklook of the game here: http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/quick-look-chibi-robo-zip-lash/2300-10748/

I think it looked pretty fun, if a little on the simple side. The leash throwing stuff reminds me of throwing eggs in Yoshi and building up your leash length reminds me of collecting more blobs in Loco Roco (lets you get into new areas and stuff.

Strangely enough for me, the fact that you're smashing blocks to get stuff made me the most interested I've been in the game so far. I love smashing stuff in games, haha. There's nothing else coming to the 3DS this year that I'm interested in so I think I might actually pick this up.
