I mean it makes a lot of sense, the gamepad being the camera aiming it a the TV, and I loved the original Pokemon Snap but, that original game didn't even do that well. And with the amount of Pokemon that exist now, I just don't see them making it is all.
I feel like if they were going to do it they would have done it on the 3DS or even the DS at this point.

Nintendo
I think Nintendo will lean quite heavily on the shared infrastructure of New 3DS and WiiU in Nintendo Network. They will push it as a big deal, we'll be underwhelmed, and they won't understand why.
They've been slowly shifting towards such a system over the years, and I think what they've built will finally be something that covers all their current and future systems. It will tie in with Club Nintendo's replacement, which I think will be announced in an April/May Direct.
Related to this, I think we'll get various Virtual Console announcements with all the usual suspects, but I'm not sure about Gamecube on WiiU because of the lack of controller adapters. It will be both or neither, I think.
It will be the same format as last year, and I think we'll see lots of footage for Zelda, Starfox, Xenoblade, and their other unannounced 2015 titles. I think they might pop a few demos up on the eShop this year as well.
News will be a 3D Mario for 2016, perhaps like Mario 64 having less linearity; finally something cool from Retro, which we've been saying for raattheerr a long time; amiibo support for Zelda and Starfox announced, with new figurines for both; Pokémon will find its way there as well, but probably only as Pokémon Z.
Not really thought about other publishers yet.... most of my thoughts have been occupied by Nintendo recently.

My predictions for Nintendo:
Updates:
-Legend of Zelda Trailer, Demo, November Release Month
-Fire Emblem if trailer, launches August in Japan, November in US/Europe
-Yoshi's Wooly World trailer, launches October
-Mario Maker trailer, launches August.
-Star Fox trailer. All three of the Wii U Miyamoto titles (Project Giant Robot and the other one) are part of it. Launches September.
-Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei properly revealed. Coming 2016.
-Pokken Tournament console release announced for 2016. Amiibo support.
-Xenoblade Chronicles X coming December in US/Europe
DLC/Amiibo Announcements:
-Splatoon DLC plans mentioned but not elaborated on.
-Fire Emblem if DLC plans mentioned but not elaborated on.
-Smash Bros receiving major DLC update. Think MVC3 to UMVC3. Physical and digital release. 2016 release. May or may not have anything to reveal aside from announcing it.
-Amiibo support for just about every title mentioned.
New Titles:
-Animal Crossing Wii U. Spring 2016.
-Next Pokemon RPG. Not elaborated on aside from commemorating the 20th anniversary. Probably will be announced beforehand and will just be them mentioning it again.
-Super Mario Galaxy 3D announced for 3DS. November release.
-Metroid Prime Wii U teased at the end. CGI trailer. 2016.
-New Mario Sports game. Logo only a la Mario Party 10 last year.
I think I might be fairly good on the Wii U side, but it's a tough call on the 3DS side. They've got Rhythym Heaven (likely JP only), Fire Emblem if (which'll be out before the fall sales season in Japan), and that's honestly pretty much it. Pokemon seems like it's not getting a big RPG this year. They're gonna have some wildcard big game for the system I'm sure, but it's hard to tell what since all the big franchises are already covered.
-Valkyria Chronicles 3 HD on PC and/or PS4 - Possibly Vita? VC2 HD a *maybe*, but however I see VC4 as utterly out of the realm of possibilities unless for god knows what reason that VC PC was to gauge viability of localization on HD platforms after the disaster of VC2 on PSP
-Final Fantasy 12 HD. This should be obvious, with whatshisface making comments on how it's within his plans to get every mainline Final Fantasy game onto 8th gen platforms. Fingers crossed for PC as well this time?
-Final Fantasy XV PC announcement - Possible tease of 2016 or early 2017 release date.
-If it's not already out or announced by the time E3 hits, MGS5 release date. Guaranteed.
-Guerilla Games' new title(s), be it the RPG from the main studio and/or Mercenary 2 by Cambridge - More than likely will be a PS4 game which they will push as being perfect with Remote Play and other rhetoric to pretend the Vita is still being supported.
-RISING 2, HOLY SHIT YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. QUOTE ME ON THIS BOYS, ADVENT RISING 2 WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT E3 2015 AFTER ALL THESE LONG YEARS, FEATURING DANTE FROM THE DEVIL MAY CRY SERIES ONLY ON XBOX ONE THE ALL IN ONE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM FROM MICROSOFT.
-The Last Guardian announced for Morpheus.
-Red Dead Next
-Fallout 4 (obvious at this point, right?)
-Mass Effect Quad: A Shepard's Flock (no but really, I expect a ton of info on the new ME)
Really hoping we get more out of MS about that rumored strategy game, but I expect that'll be limited to Gamescom. Ditto anything out of Rare. After that...
-Crackdown demo
-Phantom Dust demo
-Forza 6 release date/demo
-Scalebound release date/demo
-Quantum Break release date/demo
-Fable Legends open beta (downloadable RIGHT NOW!)
-Black Tusk Gears teaser, preceding
-Marcus Fenix Collection (gears 1-3, no Judgement because who cares about Judgement)
-Halo 5 campaign teaser and reveal of whatever they're doing with/to BTB.
-Some secret stuff
-Giant pile of Indies.
-A few more exclusive NEW N3DS titles
-Metroid, either for 3DS or Wii U
-Playable Starfox and Zelda U
-Some new Wii U app that no one cares about
-3DS remasters of GameCube games, because lol whats a Wii U?
-Paper Mario 5?
-Other things I can't think of atm
I see everyone with conference announcements. Now what about exclusive Amiibos on the floor like Skylanders every year. Disney Infinity has yet to give out an exclusive e3 only character only prerelease which are the same exact as retail.
