So FFXIII? A nightmare.
An FFXV-style world would be cool, and pretty much anything but more random encounters to a separate battlefield with ATB. IMO, that needs to not be there at all anymore.
Honestly, I'm incredibly curious what this is going to look like now that it's real.
I want it to stick with the standard atb with the option to skip summon animation.
I've never played FF7, just 10 and 13. Perfect time to play it I guess?
Will it come out for PC?
I'm surprised that so many people didn't get the tongue-in-cheek nature of the narration.I wonder if the trailer is implying some kind epilogue after the end of FF7 given the narration.
So FFXIII? A nightmare.
Probably Xbox One and PC. I think that PS4 first is a good way for them not to have to split their development resources amongst multiple platforms.
The only thing we need are updated graphic and maybe a new translation.
With FF15, KH3 and Type Zero all on Xbone, I don't see this at all..
I have the bad feeling that Nomura will f*ck it up. Hopefully I'm wrong but I have the feeling he'll be dumb enough to change things. The only thing we need are updated graphic and maybe a new translation. Otherwise the game should stay the same. Damn, I'm hyped.
as I posted above; FF type-0 did not sell at all on bone and was a big waste of resources. So unless FF15 magically takes off there wont be anymore bone FF after that.
Because I simply don't see why anyone would object to the option to skip animations or speed up combat. That seems incredibly silly.Arent you the PC guy? Cant you mod that yourself? Why change a whole game simply for things you want when you can make those "simple tweaks" yourself?
Really, I just want them to flesh it out a bit more. During my playthrough of it a few years ago, I felt like the game left a lot to the imagination partially because of the meh translation and partially due to technical issues, but now that's not an issue. This is guaranteed to sell as many copies as it needs to for them to do it right, so I hope that they are going to go as in-depth with it as they can. That cinematic trailer definitely nailed the atmosphere and got me extremely excited. If they can just flesh everything out and maybe add some new content, it will be a total success in my eyes.
What I DON'T want is them being afraid to do that. The original will always exist. A remake should strive to exist as something somewhat unique. I hope that they don't end up making something very barebones and essentially just the first game with a few fixes to make it more appealing to newer players and better graphics. Just... just go crazy with it, S-E. I believe in you.
scenario rewritten and updated to match with the prequels and sequels published after the original ect.
I'm surprised people are saying that it won't come to Xbone. If that was the case, wouldn't they have called it a "console exclusive" or something to make the point clear?
So I take it we don't know whether SE is directly developing this?
Did they not remove Nomura from XV because he couldn't handle big productions/time schedules like that, and now they put him as a director of Square's biggest and most ambitious title ever? I'm slightly worried, glad we have Kitase backing him up
Might just be a collaboration.
I mean this isn't the worst idea and worked out with Mistwalker and the studios that were involved in Lost Odyssey for example.
The original ff7 ending was one of the most unsatisfactory endings in videogame history. Anticlimatic as fuck and no single plot closed, not a single climax nor character payoff, the only thing missing was a "thank you for playing" message. It was A Dance with the Dragons level of narrative blueballs syndrome, so I really hope that they can give us at least one alternative option.
It does end on a weird spot. Some people thought. lolthey died from Meteor back in the day
Ehm no thank you. The game need to be a remake, that is fully remade starting from scratch. Gameplay changed and more real time; no random encounters; open world, dynamic weather and day/night cycle; scenario rewritten and updated to match with the prequels and sequels published after the original ect.
If they want it to be a big hit, it must be a game the new generation of RPG players can appareciate.

No,.they died from Holy
Bugenhagen:
"It is up to the planet to decide.
What is best for the planet. What is bad for the planet.
All that is bad will disappear. That is all.
Ho Ho Hooo.
I wonder which we humans are?"
