i would love to read about what the game actually has in terms of issues but this review just seems to be bitching its not dirt rally and kinda listless complaining.

Hard to say since presumably none of us have played it, but I could see where that could be bad. If you're constantly given high end rewards, they stop feeling special.

Only this is not even remotely from true. You get to select one car at discounted price after certain milestone, you get cars occasionally from wheelspins but not "a Ferrari every half hour". Jesus.

Christ a 40. I just don't even see how this is possible. Not saying everything deserves 80s or greater but at the very least the quality of this game is above a 40.

Lol the whole point of Forza Horizon is to get a shit load of cars so you can drive in as many different one as possible in the open world. It's a racing game, not an RPG. It would be horrible if you had to grind for days just to get a few cars. It's the reason why there is a million cars in the game...

I'd wager that at least 1/3 are, with many a combination of the two. I've still got a load of street races and head-to-head midnight battles to do though. Trust me, I don't think you'll be at a loss for track action.

I crawled the website looking for the next page, but nope, just a brief this isn't DiRT Rally 2/5. I mean, the quality of that review, outside the score, is just bad in itself.

Without focusing on this, it's great to see all the amazing scores coming in. GJ Playground, I can't wait to sink so much time into it.

Like the demo itself was better than a 4/10. I wouldn't take that review seriously judging by how off base it is with the rest of them. That is, unless you really love DiRT Rally.

Minor music service quibble aside, Forza Horizon 3 is a beautiful, immensely entertaining, joyous arcade racer that successfully builds on Playground Games' already tremendous formula. As an open world racer Forza Horizon 3 is epic and diverse, as a racer it's satisfying yet deep, and as a place to hang out it's a whole heap of fun.

The game blends the two together into one race at time, but there are still some road-only races. Tough to give an exact percentage.

Nope and I did. I covered how it looks with it off and with it on.
I also tested it on 3 tv's.

I don't usually mind when reviews are different. But Jesus. None of those criticisms warrant a 4/10. Seems he went into an arcade-y game wanting a sim and had no desire to look for anything else. It reminds me of the IGN Football Manager review.
