It always blows my mind how 'by chance' his talents were discovered and then how 'by chance' he got the idea for the game and watch, you hear so many stories from the early video game industry about how someone took a chance or got a bit of interest in gaming or created some minor thing and then went on to become an industry icon. I'm not sure that kind of thing could happen today.
RIP, a real driving force for the industry, things could be really different today without him.
