Gran Turismo 7 |OT| Hitting the Apex

This is both skill and luck dependant and can take you between 1-2 days or 1-2 months so there isn't a clear answer.

McLaren F1 '94
Cr. 20,000,000
Last Appeared: 07.03.2024

McLaren F1 GTR - BMW '95
Cr. 15,000,000
Last Appeared: 05.02.2024

BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97
Cr. 14,000,000
Last Appeared: 17.03.2024

Skill dependant because...

...grinding the money with the highest payout races for around Cr. 800,000 would take you approximately 17 races or 9 hours of racing. And this is only for the cheapest of the three cars. But if you are able to beat all the Circuit Experiences first try you can get Cr. 47,500,000 within a few hours.

Luck dependant because...

...all three cars are tied to Hagerty's Legendary Car Dealership and have a timed availability. As you can see in the example of the '95 model, it hasn't appeared for over two months now.
I heard something about this, timed access through an in game dealership. Man, that’s lame, would have hoped something would have changed since launch.

Over the the years I really have only used the GT series as my personal McLaren simulator lol, so that makes me pause on pulling the trigger.

Thanks for the reply.

I can tell you the wait for each car to appear in the lcd is not so bad plus it gives you time to grind Le man, Tokyo, Spa or Sardegna.

And like Con-Z-epT said you have the CE which if gold can bring you millions in no time.

Best of luck by the way the F1 GTR 95" Should be appearing in the lcd in early May and the F1 GTR ' 97 can also appear as a special pick in the lcd so keep a eye out for that, while the normal F1 still has a little more to go before it appears again.

I'm also waiting on the normal F1.:messenger_beaming:

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.46 Will Add the Skoda Vision GT, Sony’s Afeela, & a Classic Chevelle

With a few hours to go until it’s officially revealed, a first look at the Skoda Vision Gran Turismo car has leaked out courtesy of one regional PlayStation site jumping the gun, along with the other contents of the upcoming update 1.46.
It’s looking like a regular three-car update, set for Thursday April 25, with the game set to hit the 500-car mark through the first Skoda vehicle in a Gran Turismo game, Sony’s own first production car, and a classic muscle car making a welcome return from previous GT games.

PlayStation Poland let the overview of the update’s contents slip in now-removed posts on its Facebook and Twitter accounts, showing the Skoda Vision GT in multiple colors and revealing the broad strokes of the vehicle:

The Skoda Vision Gran Turismo is, as we expected, an updated version of a 2022 concept designed by Skoda independently of the Vision GT program but coincidentally bearing its name. It’s inspired by the company’s sleek 1100 OHC convertible from 1957, although with some modern touches. Absent a full presentation of the car, which will be coming later on today and with Polyphony Digital in attendance at a special live unveiling in Czechia, we still don’t know a great deal about the Skoda Vision GT, or Skoda’s future plans for a presence in the series.

However, we can say that the VGT is an electric single-seater, with a curious set-up that appears to integrate the driver’s helmet and an augmented reality display in with a fairing. We’ve seen the car presented in multiple colors too, with the original red (from the 1100 OHC) joined by what looks like two different greens and a silver version with blue livery lines.

Alongside the Skoda there’s a second new manufacturer making a debut, and it’s almost a case of Sony marking its own homework with the 2024 Afeela Prototype.
Sony revealed its first car (the Vision-S) way back in 2020, and while nobody outside of Sony really expected it to actually become a real car, that’s more or less what’s happened. To realize the ambition, Sony joined forces with Honda to form the snappily titled “Sony Honda Mobility”, to produce an evolution of the vehicle under an all-new “Afeela” brand.

Perhaps unsurprisingly it’s an all-electric vehicle, sporting a pair of 180kW (241hp) motors for a combined 482hp. As there’s one on the front axle and one on the rear, it’s also all-wheel drive, and apparently you can drive it in the real world with a DualSense controller, as demonstrated by SHM chief operating officer Izumi Kawanishi. Finally, and perhaps as an antidote to the other electrifying options, there’s a classic muscle car making a return from previous Gran Turismo games. That’s the awesome Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454, packing a 449hp, 7.4-liter LS6 V8 driving the rear wheels alone.

With the information leaking out early, we still have to wait on the Skoda presentation to find out more about the Vision GT and any future plans for Skoda models in Gran Turismo 7 (and beyond).

This is also only a preview of the vehicle content for update 1.46, with any further information on other content and features under wraps until the official PlayStation Blog/Gran Turismo website post and the patch notes.
We’re expecting more information on the Skoda at around 1600 UTC today, April 24, with the update notes at or around the same time. The update itself is likely to become available at its usual time, around 0600 UTC on Thursday April 25.

Gran Turismo 7’s Next Update Set to Arrive May 30, Adds Five New Cars

The next game update for Gran Turismo 7 looks set to land on our consoles this coming Thursday, May 30, with series creator Kazunori Yamauchi posting his traditional pre-update teaser on Twitter.

It’s a date we’ve been expecting for a little while, with content updates coming far more commonly on the final Thursday of any given month than at any other time. A server maintenance notice was also posted for the game for that date earlier today, keeping up the 100% record of server maintenance coinciding with a game update in GT7’s lifetime. Fans had been a little on-edge as Yamauchi’s teasers for a content update as usually (but not always) posted the weekend before. His teaser Tweet for last month’s update came only a day before the update landed, although that was down to the unveiling of the Skoda Vision GT. However we now have a confirmation that there will be five vehicles in the update.

It’s actually quite a hard image to decipher, with very few clues in the heavy shadow, but we’re pretty sure we’ve got a good idea of most of them, and it looks like a good one for the nostalgics.

Probably the most obvious though is the leftmost car, the classic Honda NSX from Japan’s JGTC championship. It’s likely most recognizable to Gran Turismo fans in its Castrol Mugen paint scheme, and we’ve been expecting that to arrive for a little while now.

Just above that there’s enough of a clear look to decipher the Nissan Skyline R31, in GTS-R specification.

Behind it is the unmistakably boxy, estate-bodied Volvo 240, which will become GT7’s very first wagon and a return of Volvo to the game.

That actually looks to be accompanied by a second Volvo, with what looks like the headlight and hockey-stick hood ridge of the second-generation Volvo V40. It’s not clear which version, but we’re certainly hoping for the straight-five, 254hp T5. Either way, it’ll be the car’s debut in the series.

The final car, in the bottom-right, is the most obscured of all, but we’re pretty sure it’s a fifth-generation Honda Civic EG. Again, the specification isn’t obvious, but the car that makes the most sense is the 168hp SiR-II that fans of the original Gran Turismo may remember well as one of the best early-game cars.

As usual, this teaser only shows the car content coming to the update, which we presume to be v1.48. There’s no information on any other aspects of the update, including whether there’ll be a new track or track layout (fingers crossed), and we’ll have to wait until probably Wednesday to find out more.
