I can't see two massive AAA games in Halo Infinite and Starfield coming out around the same time. Maybe one of them will release in September and the other one will release in November.
Battlefield: late August
Starfield: September
Fora Horizon 5: October
Halo Infinite: November 15(20 year anniversary)
What happened at last reveal could be a big motivator for the team at 343 to surprise everyone.Well we just saw Age of Empires IV and quite frankly it was pretty underwhelming. So if they're planning that as part of some big quadruple punch I'd say there is a rather weak link in that combo already. Halo Infinite has a lot to make up for after last year's absurd reveal and I'm not terribly confident in 343. I think they're a bloated studio that has been allowed to fumble around with the franchise a little too long. But, I'm very hopeful that they do indeed pull it off with the next Halo because I REALLY want to play a damn good Halo again.
That being said, Forza Horizon 5 will likely be damn good as it has been but I'm curious if Playground is developing this one and, if so, what that means for Fable's timeline. Because I'm way more interested in that than an open world racer. Starfield will be nice to finally see after all the hype despite knowing next to nothing about it. I'm curious to see if Bethesda has dusted itself off and gotten back on track after Fallout 76.
Expecting Starfield to be at the Bethesda Showcase but im staying with March 2022 as the release date.
Yeah thats how i feel about most of these people. Game companies are always quiet so its easy for them to make up whatever shit they want then go on the offensive when they are proven wrong. “PlAnS ChAnGED” is their favorite hole to crawl under"insider"
I feel like this time next year would be a great place for Starfield to dropThis is true, but I think they may take time to polish this one extra considering it’s an original IP, the poor reception of FO76 and that it’s Bathesda’s first tent pole release as part of Xbox Studios. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a full on trailer this e3 and a hard release date but for next year (despite their usual quick turnaround from reveal to release).
Well speculation and rumors didnt begin and won't end with these guys. But I agree with the sentiment..I personally am a little disappointed that MS and Sony are keeping their cards so close to their chest and we got new machines..Then again I think all of us wanting to see MORE games that justify our hardware purchases may be making us as gamers a little bit more antsy, especially for Xbox since they've made all these acquisitions.Yeah thats how i feel about most of these people. It is cross gen.
FM is Series exclusive though
I know but im staying with March 2022 like I have since last year. Not changing it. If im wrong, im wrong. No biggie.Starfield's copyright is for 2021, meaning they expect it to release this year and not 2022.
Why is everyone crazy about Japan?
I want to drive on the right side of the road for once.
So where would be best outside of Japan?because it would look amazing and has all the location options you could want with cities, rural, mountains, coastal.
But yeah, they haven’t driven on the right side of the road since the original in Colorado.
Italy in my opinion would be brilliant, there's some incredible roads, things like the Mille Miglia, driving on the Fiat Garages roof track, the race track etc. and obviously you have the history of the car manufacturers. I know FH2 had some northern Italian locations but I would love to see FH5 modelled on Italy as a whole. So where would be best outside of Japan?
Sounds amazing, hopefully it's a beautiful and unique setting whatever location.Italy in my opinion would be brilliant, there's some incredible roads, things like the Mille Miglia, driving on the Fiat Garages roof track, the race track etc. and obviously you have the history of the car manufacturers. I am still having a hard time with the belief Starfield will have a massive reveal in a few months and then be out end of 2021 but yet somehow be totally exclusive to Xbox. Yes I realize they bought the studio, and only just months ago, but wouldnt that mean the game was almost totally complete with what I can only assume includes a PS4/PS5 version. They really would just toss out and throw that in the garbage even if its literally right there and basically done. Doesnt make any sense but we will see how it ends up either way.
That would cause some melt downs for sure
If FH decided to take a flight simulator roadmap, I would say let's start with a European country and then every year we get an expansion in terms of a city/region.So where would be best outside of Japan?
Might be possible if Motorsport is already in an alpha stageMS needs to bring both the Forza games to E3.
If you don't see the irony in this, I don't know to tell you.Of course. Because that means Phil Spencer deliberately canceled PS5 version which WAS in development since Sony tried to sign a timed exclusivity deal.

I find it amazing that Forza 8 (or whatever it's going to be called) isn't more advanced in its development. It's been nearly 4 years and Turn 10 could usually pump out each new Forza every 2 years even with a jump to a new console.Might be possible if Motorsport is already in an alpha stage
Aren't they building an entirely new ForzaTech engine? I would imagine that takes a fair while.I find it amazing that Forza 8 (or whatever it's going to be called) isn't more advanced in its development. Hope it means its going to be something really special
I obviously don't know how long and consistent these alpha and beta stages are but having an closed external alpha stage seems to indicate that they aren't that 'far' off. That's disappointing to me, this should be a big Christmas 2021 game IMO. I'm sick of reading how MS have all these studies and games in development. They need to start showing them and more so getting out.I obviously don't know how long and consistent these alpha and beta stages are but having an closed external alpha stage seems to indicate that they aren't that 'far' off. Didn't they do the same from Forza 1 to 2? It seems such a long time for a team that really only needed 2 years and Playground games had even less time for Forza Horizon 5 and yet people say that's coming out 1st?Aren't they building an entirely new ForzaTech engine? I would imagine that takes a fair while.

The irony is that you're crying because mean Phil Spencer took the game away from Sony... While Sony was attempting to take the game away from Xbox. There is no irony with Xbox fan like Idle Sloth

Uh....100% exclusive means one version is canceled then. . That is waaaay different than timed exclusive
The good thing about Xbox exclusives is that you can also play them on PC. There is really no need for anyone to be butthurt, yet here we are.All I expect from these shows nowadays is CGI trailers, no way to leave disappointed that way.
Also everybody that is happy that someone else doesn't get to play a game is so pathetic lol.

fr though I do love that you are a pretty big PS fanboy yet here you are covertly port begging for Starfield. If it doesn’t come to PS though, I do hope you get to play it on Xbox, PC or xCloud though.
On one hand I would love to see Japan. On the other hand, I want some normal right hand drive traffic.- No left hand drive traffic
Just a hint: games are developed on PC. Only later in the development stage they get converted and optimized for consoles.Port begging yet Starfield was already in development for both current gen consoles, just Sony tried to deal a timed exclusive last year. Nice try, mate
LOL, port begging, yet PS5 version exists.
