I feel I've filled up my resources bag with a bunch of machine hearts, lenses, etc. because I'm not really sure if I'll need them to buy some weapon/armor later in the game. I suppose I could get some boar bones to increase the inventory, but I haven't found 2 of those yet. Makes me wish there was some chest where I could store a bunch of these resources I don't need immediately (maybe there is and I haven't found it yet).

I am only Level 13 and do not know of a chest but I already have my resources bag maxed. Boar Bones were pretty easy to get, just hunt some Boars. It only took 10 or so for me. I should say I kept the game on whatever the default difficulty level is though.

Yeah but when I dropped down to get it the fall left me with a tiny sliver of health and couldn't climb back up. Good thing I completed all the objectives before dropping cos I had to fast travel to get out of that spot.

Don't worry about that. You still have a few missions after that. Just stock up on ammo and potions but even that is unnecessary. I have no idea why he says that.

When you do get to the point of no return the game will make it explicit. Until then go crazy

This is an interesting one because it looks like she's wearing an early version of the Nora Silent Hunter Heavy. And it looks so much better than the final design.

It's by no means a downgrade but I wish they had kept the leafy design of the armor instead of going with an ugly green net. Maybe the leaves movement was causing issues ?

Yeah I'm a little obsessed with the armor in this game. They all look so great and detailed I keep swapping every 30 minutes.

. I'm enjoying the story, but also enjoying doing random side quests, haven't touched the hunters lodge stuff yet though. Game is pretty big considering this is Guerilla's first crack at an open world game.

Don't spoil the game with Spotify. The soundtrack is amazing and must be listened to.

It's definitely a great soundtrack, but after a while when I'm just trying to chill out, explore the world, and collect Metal Flowers it would be nice to at least get the option to listen to my own music for a bit.

I'm level 22 and haven't found any chest for item storage, but I think I just have to grit my teeth and get the upgrades for the resource bag capacity. I just haven't been a huge fan of killing the wildlife, so even though I run past a lot of boars I usually just let them be. My motto in the game has been only to kill things that are either in my way (i.e. required for a story mission) or actively trying to kill me. It may be silly of me, but I felt kind of bad killing the 50 or so foxes to get the fox skin (even though the item it unlocked was so worth it).

It's not a waste. Every weapon has a tutorial, which are usually really simple and can help you rank up. Free XP is never a waste

No. This is a mission you can't interrupt or fast travel from, but it also isn't the final mission or a pint of no return.

Umm what... I just got a purple weapon mod that is +50% freeze, +21% damage, and +12 fire. I had no idea they could go that high or even give 3 stats. Most of my purple mods are 35-44 for whatever stat.

It's good that HZD did not bother with that sort of stuff at least for the first game.

With my blaze supply nearly always zero thanks to relying on fire arrows and explosives too often I decided to try freeze... holy crap the damage is insane.

Just fire a few freeze arrows to trigger the effect and then you can spam sharpshot or even standard arrows to do massive damage.

Just rented this and about to start the proving. Great looking game even on a standard PS4. As others have pointed out the lip syncing can be hit or miss and it has some open world jank as far as facial animations go, but you can tell that it has alot of potential.

The only thing that really sticks out to me for some reason is people's skin. Not sure if it has SSS or not, but at times(especially young Aloy getting wet) it looks bad.

Really liking the story and gameplay so far.

Edit: The IQ is amazing.

It supposedly changes some dialog depending on whether you did certain side quests up to that point.
