I've been saying Arslan will bomb since it was announced.

Shame as the game looks really good. Hopefully the demo and word of mouth extends sales but i'm doubtful.

From the beginning Arslan felt like weird pick for Musou game if they wanted to hit the numbers of previous anime/manga spin offs. It doesn't have the historical popularity of Hokuto no Ken or modern popularity of One Piece or Attack on Titan.

Yeah really weird choice but perhaps it was part of some multimedia push for the series.
Why TK haven't done a DBZ or Naruto Musou yet? Might as well chuck in Pokemon and Digimon.

The series used to sell near a million each year during the PS2 era.

This is how pro evo has been doing on a global basis since launch.

Winning Eleven was glorious in the PS1/PS2 days, back when FIFA games were awful. When FIFA games became actually good WE lost all chance to compete because of lack of licenses.

Next two weeks should be fun to watch for ps4 vs wiiu comparison

Next week maybe a very positive wii u result vs probably the lowest ps4 week ever, the week after wiiu torned apart from ps4 post cut peak!

Why^^?

Won't the next two weeks be kind of predictable?

Silver week effects and price cut consequences are predictable in terms of general direction but are still interesting events in a sales topic imho. Especially with those possible fluctuations

Comgnet week 38->39

Pokémon: -70%
Mario Maker: -12%
YW Busters: +3%
Splatoon: +59%
DQVIII: -40%
Monster Hunter Diary: -6%
Minecraft: -5%
AC HHD: +24%
MGSV PS4: -45%
MGSV PS3: -70%

You are very optimistic about that post-drop spike. :p

So, apparently, as holidays are approaching, Nintendo 3DS big-hitters will only be Zelda and Paper Mario & Luigi. The latter should sell well (400-500k) but it will not be the traditional Nintendo million-seller every year had in november / december since 2011. It's likely Nintendo is hoping AC:HHD to pick up some steam, but sales in the past few weeks were not that encouraging (though quite good overall). On the other hand, L5 should release YWB: Yellow Bird (as Chris called it, haha), and Capcom has Monster Hunter.

2016, instead, has already plenty of heavy hitters: MH Stories, YW3, DQXI, likely Pokémon Z.

MHX will be the big million+ seller this holiday. Don't know if a 3rd YWB version will, I mean the current two are at 1.5m combined, so roughly 750k each after 2 and a half months.

wow at Splatoon! Also SMM would hold well.

Well, I didn't put any estimation there :p
But it will be fun to look back and see something like 18k vs 5k become 10k vs 50k

I'm relly surpirsed (and I'm saying this since E3, more or less, here in these topics) about how strong the 2016 is shaping up for the 3DS (especially comapred to the second part of the '15, imho).

Plus: I've really bad feelings about Zelda Triforce. It's a shame, because I've always seen "4 sword" as a good fit for handheld.
