Guys, is Olli Olli the kind of game you can relax and play in bed and just chill out to?
I've been in the mood for a cool skateboarding game and I think I misplaced my Gamecube copy of THPS4.

Basically I want a cool chillout game on the 3DS. Recs would be appreciated :). I really should get Olli Olli though, been wanting for it ever since I thought it was a Vita exclusive and here it is on muh 3DS after all.

Yes, although the games mechanics are a little tough to get the hang of to start. Once you get them, the game feels like Bit.Trip Runner without a set pattern to follow, and a quicker reset in levels.

That sounds like music to my ears, I liked Bit.Trip Runner but it felt a bit stale. A bit more freedom should do the trick. Checking out the soundtrack right now and it's amazing. Very Hotline Miami, good thing I have proper headphones

The real joke will be when it shows up next week :þ

They'll release FF VI (GBA of course because random) and nothing else ever. Just to fuck with us.

Relax? Everything else yea but this game is not about relaxing. You're gonna suck so bad if you wanna chill. Highly intense twitch gameplay is what OlliOlli is. You better time that (A) press perfectly and do some stick-gymnastics or you can kiss those highscores goodbye.

I recommend Proun+ and Siesta Fiesta for more relaxed chill-gaming on 3DS. Play OlliOlli only when you're fully awake!

But getting in the zone and being focused on a game is relaxing to me :lol, especially if it's score based sports games

Proun+ is too dizzy for chill-gaming.

Of course my 3DS absolutely refuses to connect to the internet using internet sharing through my phone. It only works when I have the most perfect of connections. Or randomly in my apartment.

Definitely getting Olli Olli though, the soundtrack is amazing as fuck.
Have there been any worthwile VC additions on the 3DS? I'm getting Gargoyle's Quest 2 some day, really liked the first.

Mole Mania. One of the best puzzle game you can find on 3DS.

Edit: Haha, another SMTIV price reduction, and this time even better than before. Think I'll finally yoink that.

Same. Can't say no any longer lol

Trine Enchanted Edition price (in combination with Trine 2) is not bad at all.

Steam has ruined this for me since the first game (vanilla version of course) was offered for 10 percent of even the reduced price for years and years.

Yay, Adventure Bar Story! Please be out in Germany....

Repeating my warning against Conception II, unless you really hate yourself and your time. Why is this turd 15 EUR and the really good SMT IV is 10 EUR??

Let us see if this sale will finally give me some SMT IV StreetPasses. (Or Conception II Blindmates.)

Adventure Bar Story €4.99 / £3.99
Nice move though currently €5 is less than £4. Bit hesitant to celebrate after Fantasy Zone (PR said it would be £3.49 but it was £4.49).

Aside from a financial reason to avoid giving more than 50% off in a sale Conception 2 is a newer game (ignoring the fact it came out on the eShop first) plus SMTIV has a lot of bad blood because how long it took to come out here.

Still all this makes me wish NISA Europe would care but they can't hear over the cash registers for their overpriced limited editions.

I got some blood tests this morning so I couldn't make it on time to show my Terranigma love </3 (next week... in this thread).

Anyway, nice SMT IV sale! So bought at that price :D

I need some recommendations! I've been told that there's some 2x1 games sale in a retail store here in Spain and I was thinking in getting some 3DS and Wii U titles, what titles would you get from this list? (you can mix 3DS titles and Wii U titles).

3DS:

Kirby Triple Deluxe
Luigi's Mansión 2
Pokemon X/Y
Pokemon OR/AS
Layton vs Phoenix Wright
Layton Azran Legacy
Zelda: OOT 3D
Zelda: MM 3D
New Super Mario Bros 2
Yoshi New Island
Mario Kart 7
Smash Bros 3DS

Wii U:

Lego City
Need For Speed
Rayman Legends

Knowing this:

- Never played any Kirby game for more than 40 minutes (but I have Kirby Wii U pre-ordered)
- I have Mario Kart 8/Smash Bros for Wii U (and put a lot of hours there)
- My last Pokemon game was Sapphire (and I never beat it)
- Love 2D platformers (Rayman Legends will be one of the choices for sure)
- I beat both Zeldas (N64 versions).

What would be your choices? (Upon availability and I think "new" releases don't apply but I put MM: 3D anyway).

You could add any other game that maybe I missed. Thanks in advance! :)

But I don't like Pokémon games.
Not sure if you're joking or not, but SMT is like Pokemon, only good. Every single Pokemon after Red bored me after a few hours, but in SMT your team and strategy actually matters.

I've never played a single SMT game before and I'm still going to.

I'm in for a world of hurt, aren't I?
Depends on how you usually approach games. If you take your time to prepare and think about your team composition you'll be fine.

What? 2x1? Where? :p

I'd choose 4 games:

- Luigi's Mansion 2 - If you like Luigi's character and puzzles, it's your game.
- Layton vs Phoenix Wright - (Not played, but in my wishlist)
- Lego City Undercover - Funny sandbox with many collectibles and missions. Some slow loading times.
- Rayman Legends - More Rayman Origins

Media Markt Castellana (Madrid) until 31st March. I've seen several post in Vandal/Eol saying that's true so I'm going to take a look (it's the most expensive MM too).

Luigi and Rayman are my most wanted for sure. If the prices are right maybe I'll buy 4 games and pick Lego with other game :D (Layton vs Wright I think will go down in price just like the Layton games).

Thanks!

What is Suspension Railroad Simulator? the 2013 version? I never play any of those kind of games, are they fun? Is this game consider an indie game?

Looking foward to play Trine Enchanted Edition! Trine 2 was my first digital game on the Wii U, and I enjoy SO MUCH the online with my friends! I cant wait :)

From the Sales, I recomend Color Zen. Its really really simple, but i like the concept, and for that price I didnt regret it.
I got Paper Monsters Recut as well, but I havent play that much yet, so many games in the waiting list :|

btw: Hi everyone from this thread! Im new here :p. Creator of SmashBros-Miiverse and Indie-eShop. Great thread!!!

Don't think it's new thread worthy so I'll ask my fellow Nintengirls and -guys: Can I connect a Wii U Pro Controller to my PC without an bluetooth adapter? Been using my 360 controller for PC games abit more lately and always get confused with the buttons on the New 3DS and Pro Controller/Gamepad.
