OT will be a little late, but should make it up by tomorrow for launch. Thankfully as usual this is more niche of a title so its not like there will be a ton of folks waiting.

OT is up and running so disregard this message.

Maybe someone can answer this here. I could have sworn I read somewhere that OTs were now supposed to go live one day before releases rather than the seven listed in the guidelines post linked from the OT. One day or a week?

I'd like to volunteer to make a new Arcana Heart 3 Love Max OT.Since it just hit steam.
The old thread was from 2014, its creator is banned, and it has absolutely no technical info on what the game has in it's OP.

I'm making breakdown graphics to outline in a quick blurb what each arcana does, will be listing the whole roster and giving links on character guides to them, and outlining the MANY mechanics of the game such as homing dashes, dash cancels, extend force being like xfactor and a guts factor that changes how much damage you take after your health drops below a certain point coupled with charts showing the exact percentage rates.

General idea is that people pass on the game and since it doesnt make its system clear to players at the select screen or movelist screen folks don't know what they're missing out on. I'm hoping to change that and make it something folks can enter into easily.

TomShoe was banned. I discussed it with him and I'm working with Dobkeratops and cj_iwakura on the Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance OT and I got the okay from TomShoe to post it in his place.

I figure I bring this to your attention because the game releases in 6 days and TomShoe won't be back in time to post it.

Release is slated for Spring 2016 in Japan.


Btw about the old DQ Heroes US ver claim I had done, did anyone else want to do the OT for the West?

Good looks like I didnt claim it after all, not on the list either. So that means someone else can do the DQ Heroes Western release OT!

ill have to get back behind a pc since doing this on mobile is a pita but will toss up a claim for the new sao game. actually wait scratch that for now still dont have a finalized or general date just the 2016.

regardless if am fairly sure it will be within our 1 year window rule will do the official claim then when we get something more concrete past 2016.

Granted this is not the best of examples, since lately GAF staff want OTs to be just a single post if possible, it gives you an idea of what the previous OT looked like broken down by informational categories.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution OT

As always graphics can take a backseat as long as you have the general basic information that will help people understand what said title is about. To make it easy to digest, breaking down such information into set categories is always a good thing as it makes searching for a specific bit of information easier, than having to read through massive blocks of unfiltered text. Once again dont worry about having to do nice graphics and whatnots, as the OTs that have those, is due to people enjoying to do graphical work for their hobby.

Heres an example below of simple formatting you can consider for an OT depending on the information you have available for use.

  • Story
  • Media
  • Screenshots
  • FAQ if you want one
  • Reviews
Since the game will be a continuation of the previous title linking to the Human Revolution OT may help things out for those who have questions about if they should play the previous game or not for example.

I think less is more for a lot of OTs, that one is a bit much. Like 8 point font in some of those images, sheesh. Some good pictures/layout though.

Its why as stated the GAF staff had the rules changed so that OTs should only be a single post if possible. But reason for linking it is due to that having been the previous OT of related title to what said user wants to do. So they have a visual reference of what a previous OT did in terms of categories for content.

Various other references exist and are fairly easy to find by using OT in the search filter. All of the following below have varying length / information present. So gives a pretty fair spread of what is out there.

Yeah doing everything in an image is a pain due to having to worry about how it will look on PC / smartphone etc. Besides the amount of time it takes D: So hats off to those who manage to pull it off but big NOPE for me ever doing that again lol.

Not a fan of image heavy OTs. Keep in mind that mobile users will have a tough time with loading and reading them, plus all that data usage.
