Crystal Red and Crystal Blue are great. I want them stateside, but typically Asia/Hong Kong import prices are reasonable compared to USD MSRP... Maybe an import incoming. I've wanted Steel Black since before the Pro-era Dualshock revisions, but I do think the Crysal Red and Crystal Blue look better.

The innards of the PS4 controllers simply look unattractive presented with this kind of transparency. Just look at the asymmetrical details on the grips. Ugly. Perhaps the grips should have been kept covered, with only the top part of the controller exposed.

The transparent N64 controllers look much better, largely because the grips are entirely transparent.

Its more of the paint on the controller fading. I never had a metallic colored controller cause Im afraid the color may fade. Metallic colors just looks like those found in cheap plastic toys to me.
