I'd be surprised if it's any less than $29.99..Even if it doesn't look that good I'm still excited as shit to play it for the first time. I'm sure this will be around 15 dollars anyways so I'm not mad.
Up-res backgrounds and pan & scan? Oh, wow...

remake gc: march 22, 2002
remake wii: december 25, 2008
could be that the original contract had some sort of exclusivity clause for a certain amount of time, and it ran out.
30 fps is fine for this game, but it's a real shame they're seemingly just upscaling the backgrounds, might as well just play the GC version then.
that's a B, right.
I wonder if this will get a disc-release?
It's gonna be $30 and we will like it.
Only on PS3 in Japan by the sounds of everything.
Fuck WiiU.
I was wondering the same thing, but if that is the case, why not release a supposed remaster of Resident Evil 0 as well (because they part of the same contract)?
Looks like they're allowed to release REmake every six years
REmake REmastered REdefined in 2020
60fps isn't just about making things look smoother. If anything, more responsive controls would be really good for a game like this, where every shot counts.I'm not one of those mental people that think 30 fps is better than 60 fps, but I can't see it making much difference in a game with a static camera.
I'm cool with 30 bucks.
With those fucking upressed photoshop filtered backgrounds? I wouldn't pay more than 2 bucks for this trash. Now if they had actually rerendered the backgrounds I'd be willing to pay more for this game.
Should've been over the shoulder also and implemented a cover system.no coop or other state of the art stuff?
pass
Backgrounds will be high res in 1080p or what?
They're going to give a it a separate release so they get more money out of RE fans without have to spend much money.I was wondering the same thing, but if that is the case, why not release a supposed remaster of Resident Evil 0 as well (because they part of the same contract)?
Smartest decision Capcom has made for a very long time.
Now we just need Square Enix to remake Final Fantasy VII, right? RIGHT?!
Doit.gifTempted to edit the title again so it reads "Remaster" instead.
