Damn good job MS. Your technical fellows are closing the gap.
I agree that it is odd how DF is seemingly choosing one platform to do analysis on instead of proper faceoffs.
They CREATED DirectX.Damn good job MS. Your technical fellows are closing the gap.
Hahahahahalike you put it in your ass?
Won't work properly unless the game lets you manually control the aspect ratio as well.
Dark Souls 1 would be a good game to test it with, actually. DSFix gives you the option of keeping the original res and its aspect ratio, so the higher res equivalent would be 1536x1080.
To be fair, there were a lot of big releases this week.
Yay that 1080pr
like you put it in your ass?

This one is measured in oliphants.
"Due to the higher resolution, there are dips on the PS4 where as the XB1 holds a steady framerate (relevant posted video shows otherwise). To sum up we find that largely both version perform similarly."
It's gonna be a long gen for some people.like you put it in your ass?
Because the game is CPU bound and XB1 has higher clock speed.

Like AC Unity before they proved they had no idea why the framerate was dipping?
The game is bound to the CPU.
This is pretty sad that those of us with both systems have to wait to figure out which versions is actually 1080p, has a better framerate, and so on.
I'm very upset that publishers aren't being upfront before the game comes out and saying here's exactly what they are.
What are you talking about? You don't have to wait for anything. The PS4 version will always be better.
Hasn't there been discussion that the upclock of the XB1 is so modest that it could not account for such an FPS difference.
Is it not highly more likely that Unity is just a god awfully coded game?
This is good news, I think?
Or did Ubisoft claim it was native 1080p on XB1?
Sad? What are you expecting? It's a relatively small niche that actively cares about the minute differences in games. This is pretty sad that those of us with both systems have to wait to figure out which versions is actually 1080p, has a better framerate, and so on.

The game is bound to the CPU.
many thought it was 900p this is better, good news.
CPU time is very important. 150Mhz makes large difference.
many thought it was 900p this is better, good news.
The game is an unfinished mess. The game is bound to the CPU.

Do the math.
Not always.
If it ends up performing better on Xbone I'll get that version when I get the console down the line. Current pattern of PS4 showing more detail at the cost of performance is concerning.

DF is suspicious slow lately
Is DF a good source now? I thought many on GAF preferred Lens of Truth because they were more honest.
I think its just been COD AW and the Evolve Beta.Which games follow this pattern?
Do the math.

I did, how about you do the math.
