Is an iPad which almost as expensive. Does that make any difference in Apple products being expensive?
As Square Enix posts a swing to significant losses for the last fiscal year, the company has blamed the "increasingly competitive and oligopolistic" console game markets in North America and Europe, saying that the space is too highly-influenced by a small number of companies.
ipad mini was between Wii U basic and premium price here.
Not that bad yeah.
Eh, I'm not going to try and convince you to like stuff you don't like.
I agree it doesn't measure up to the 360 / PS3 library though.
1) They won't.
2) considering how much better these games sell on dedicated game platforms than phones or tablets -- where are you getting this information?
?
Have you never missed a guy a foot away from you in a mp shooter? Happens to me all the times on consoles and pcs D:
Oh, I dunno about that. You're probably right. I just see it as I'm going to buy a smartphone anyway, it might as well be the one that has all the support from a gamers perspective. It just isn't worth it to buy for the sole purpose of gaming. I wonder how many people here would buy iOS just for gaming purposes.
I feel the same about the 3DS and the Wii, it's just personal preference ultimately. If it ain't tickling your testes, move on to something else. You claim its a good gaming platform but I have yet to see the evidence even with the thousands of ports/game apps.. I'm not just talking taste here. It has never come further then a fun distraction for me.
A sample size of one probably isn't very reliable.gunmanclive sold multiples better on 3DS than iOS.
Ctrl+f "vita".
....

I should have put expectations low.

Not really. At least I don't remember missing the whole clip...

Final Fantasy XV exclusively on iOS.
Theif, Deus Ex, Tomb raider, Hitamn (although i didn't like it). Pretty cool company.
That's cool. It baffles me that people buy the 3DS when the Vita exists. It boggles my mind that the Saturn 'lost' to the Playstation. I can't fathom people preferring the NES over the Master System. I think the important part is accepting that it's a legit gaming platform* and it's going to get exclusive games. Treat them as you would any exclusive on a platform you don't care for: ignore them. Port-begging or bitching about the chosen platform doesn't get anyone anywhere.I wasnt really comparing to anything specific but I love my iPhone for other reasons. It baffles me just as much that you can even compare it to Wii or 3DS even if they are shitty.
Basically Eidos, yeah?
Those controls look like a big improvement, but they still don't seem like they'd work for Deus Ex. The reason is that, at least for stealth playthroughs, careful first-person movement (as opposing to aiming and shooting) is critically important. Virtual sticks are obviously terrible for that, but The Drowning's scheme isn't much better. It seems fine for aiming, for looking around, and for longer-distance movement. But for close-up movement with a need for strafing, variable speeds, and constantly facing a target? I don't see how it'll help at all.So, about the game... I do think it's a missed opportunity to just tack on virtual controls in this. Since it's not really a fast paced FPS, I think the control scheme of The Drowning could work really well for Deus EX.
