i found a couple localized trophy descriptions from a few videos showing off trophies. Some are actually kind of funny
Here's the one for Cucco
"Now here's a creature that's just poultry in motion. It usually minds its own business, but if you attack it, the chickens will come home to roost -- by body-slamming you over and over... and over... A pretty fowl tactic if you ask me. it's almost futile to fight back, and eventually, they'll lose interest and stop driving you Cucco."

and the one for Pipes
Sometimes Piranha Plants lie in them... That's right! I'm talking about these iconic green pipes. World 7 of Super Mario Bros. 3 was actually called Pipe Land. Jump over pipes! Run along pipes! Enter and exit pipes! ... I'm saying there are a lot of pipes.

I know I was maining (or going to attempt to main) Rosalina immediately after her trailer. Hearing these stories about mystical Rosalina players being called try-hards makes me wonder what is actually going on especially since I have no Rosalina footage to go on.

Palutena being slow though? What? She's like behind Strider Frog and Little Mac only in terms of ground speed and is more that decent in the air. Someone link that AeroLink stuff from the TourneyLocator stream.

I was referring to her attacks. I forgot who was playing her (I think it was Makai) but missed attacks looked ridiculously punishable because they all had so much endlag.

tbh the bowser's castle portion of paper mario kinda ruins the stage for me, it's just really bad

bowser's castle deserved a stage, but not like this :(

wait til wii u version for a bowser castle ;)

but im bummed there still isnt a bowser castle stage

cmon sakurai, hell clone peaches castle and just put lava and a dark background and replace her castle with bowsers castle, also have bullet bills occasionally fly in the stage........you already have the asset for that

Can't wait to stomp you fools with Ness soon enough. That fair ain't fair.

(I'm actually not very good but talking like this will make me better, right? It's all about the mindset!)

Honestly your spacing on Fairs and Fsmashes wasn't that bad. You gotta learn to use less Neutral B and counter. They're both great moves but they're punished easily so you should be using them like a "trump card" and only dish it out once you got a hard read. Also there isn't really a need to always be on the offensive. Blindly attacking shields will get you punished and playing defensive is still viable if you need to do it. Use that defensive "down time" to think about what you're doing and what you're opponent is doing and ways to counter it. Mind games are critical and everyone has patterns you can exploit.

I'm Qikz, but my 3DS is currently charging as it's lowish on battery. I saw your name though as onlline so I'm on your flist.

Ah gotcha, yeah. Saw you guys as "playing local" or something similar but couldn't join. Saw you go offline so I assumed you had finished :p

Whenever you get back at it, if I see you online is it ok to just randomly join?

Thanks for the advice <3

Edit: You aren't getting the 3DS version, chaos? Why?

I don't really like the feel of playing the demo on 3DS, and I'll never touch it once the Wii U version comes out since I never take the 3DS outside the house anyway. I just don't think it's worth $40 to play an (IMO) inferior version of the game a couple months early.

I guess I'll change my mind if customization (or at least custom moves) isn't in the Wii U version unless you transfer, but I'd hate doing it because that would be some insane bullshit on Nintendo's part.

I know it probably won't happen since it's a 3DS game, but is anyone's Gamestop having a midnight release?

I talked to mine Friday and they said that they might be, I think they had gotten an email that said it was up to the manager's discretion in this case. It probably depends on how many pre-orders your specific shop has

Ive always wanted a bowser's castle stage too up until mario 3d world came out and
brought with it bowser's rad theme park casino tower place, with that music!!!!!

If it were one of those "platform that flys around a landmark" stages like delfino plaza and halberd i wouldnt need another smash stage ever. Bowser really should keep that aesthetic along with his generic castle with lava trope, gives the guy way more character

Also to add on this, I'm buying the bundle for Wii u version which is $100(possibly even more in Canada for the game, GC controller, and adapter) that's pretty steep. I don't have the funds, and I'm contemplating cancelling either bayonetta 2 or Alpha Sapphire because of it.
