Just came across a couple videos of one of my most anticipated games, Star Trek: Bridge Crew. Thought I'd share them. This literally seems like a Star Trek fan's fantasies come to life.

This game is by the same folks who developed Werewolves Within, which is a great game where you sit around a fire with other folks in VR and play as villagers trying to suss out who among the group are monsters.
Games like Star Trek and Werewolves Within are games where the social aspect is key. The nature of a social game means the people you're playing with and their unique personalities really spice up the whole experience. A game will never be the same twice. When you're relying on talking to other players for most of the interaction with the game, it keeps things dynamic and so the game won't start to feel stale for a long time, compared to something like a VR shooting gallery.
The fact that you're in VR really makes all the difference too. But again, it's a case of if you're never tried VR I can't really convey it properly. But basically because you're in a stationary, seated position just like your character, and no matter where you look you see the game world and other "people" talking and gesticulating, you really feel like you're inhabiting this body and the role that comes with it. That sense of immersion lets you totally escape into the game.
So, yeah. I'm excited for this. But does anyone know of any more games that are out/coming out that are similar to these two games? Games where the whole premise relies on social interaction within VR? Because I want to play them.
Also, kudos to Ubisoft for these two games and for supporting VR more than most other publishers.
EDIT
A new video has been released detailing all of the roles. Watching this video, it's easier to get a better understanding of how you actually play the game.

BONUS:
Here's a video of a match of Werewolves Within as one of the players (who's super drunk) barfs on his roommates shoes, and you can hear his roommate yelling at him. Comedy gold. NOT FOR EMETOPHOBES!

(Games where you are stationary like this don't make you sick. This guy is just drunk.)
