All right, I'll be looking into Another, Black★Rock Shooter, and Louise Final. I'll think about Nisemonogatari even though LOLSHAFT. What the hell is Mini-Skirt Space Pirates and why didn't anyone tell me about this before??
I should probably get on with finishing my unfinished series too. I still need to finish Hanasaku Iroha, THE IDOLM@STER, and start back into Hurrdurr-Pinguindrum. I actually stalled on Hurrdurr around episode 5 or 6 but with reports that the show actually doesn't use repeated animation for it's whole run (excepting the Rock Over Japan sequence), I'm going to go ahead and watch it to the end.

Boy meets girl, falls in love.
Over the course of hours or days or weeks they hang out and do slice-of-life things. She is everything he's not and the timid lad identifies in her the traits that he sorely lacks. The two of them grow closer over the course of the show, but at the cusp of real romance . . . tragedy: she dies, gets cancer, is hit by a truck, is raped; falls off a cliff, trips into a pit of spikes or drowns in a puddle of urine.
Whether she survives or not is irrelevant. For one day, the boy will take out his camera, and clicks a picture of his hometown, where the memory of the girl he loved still lies waiting, biding its time before it takes flight. After taking the shot the boy will look up in wonder as the sound of her laugh rings in his ears.
And I guess Secret Base can start playing. Dunno.

Watching people go through Steins;Gate the first time is pretty awesome. My first time through was a pretty memorable experience, it's definitely in my Top 3 for 2011.
