It works, but only if you downloaded it on your PSP the first day. After that, Sony took away the ability to download the game or even transfer it from the PS3 unfortunately.

For whatever reason, Sony doesn't want Suikoden 2 being played on a PSP.

Obviously because they're finally bringing Suikoden 1+2 PSP to the US.

It sucks, but I'm staunchly against digital distribution ONLY on consoles/handhelds. Give us both options. This game has a physical release in Japan, so if I really need it, I'll just import. Would be nice to have that localized physical, but what can you do?

There was no way that this game would have a physical edition, and they are even giving it out at basically half the price, I think it's a great deal. I own the import version so I'll have both, I love the cover. :3

You should be able to download it on the Vita, who knows with Sony though.

That's not how it works. I don't think it's even strictly allowed by Sony policies to take a PSP game and just release it as a Vita game without making some serious behind-the-scenes programming modifications (not to mention adding trophies!).

No trophies, no deal Tom. =|

I'll probably end up buying this tomorrow though. Gotta support that Falcom goodness.

It probably doesn't help that some companies wouldn't let them do it in house if they wanted to. I thought I had heard that some companies don't want to give out the source code in some cases so even if you offered they might just say no.



Vic is the only person in the world still doing physical psp releases. You are going to miss some good games if you have to have physical.

Uh no, Japan is still getting new retail PSP games.
