My humble thoughts on this:

1) When introducing wild claims, even if they're true, somebody has to be the first, and they will seem crazy. Which is why it's so important to have proof outside of hearsay, which he hasn't given on this, to my knowledge.

2) Intentionally giving targets misinformation via credible sources has been around a long, long time. Usually done to poison the well.

3) Could be a simple grift. But this guy was a lauded Australian journalist (e.g., he worked for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and won prestigious awards). Recently, he's gone all-in on UFO whistleblower coverage, which makes me think it's option #2 until he can prove otherwise.

I started watching every episode last month. He seemed reasonable and sensible - just the ticket... then got a bit soft in the head with mumbo jumbo and last week interviewed Billy Carlson... and now I have little respect left. It's another scifi as news show for me now.

You can tell just by looking at a still picture of the guys face without him even talking that hes a bullshitter, he has a bullshitters face.

This has been beat to death. It gets recycled. A guy claims this exact thing on reddit and dozens of pics are posted in response that had never been debunked going back to the 1940s.

They simply change their position on every picture. "Meh. Probably cgi/hoax."

On every occasion of course.

It just proves people will fall back to their core bias regardless of any "unbiased" stance. It's human nature.

And regardless if I showed an actual legit ufo, how would your mind even recognize it as real considering our limited perspective? It's not like we've seen them before and can make distinctions.

There are plenty of videos, plenty of photos. Just check out the UFO subreddits. I'm not saying it's aliens, far from it, but the actual existence of UFOs was cemented for me with the NYT's coverage of the Tic Tacs. That led me to be more willing to believe testimonies from high-ranking officers who also claim to have seen unexplainable phenomena.

Are you fellas disregarding the existence of UFOs? Or that they're alien crafts? The latter, I get, but not the former.

Yup, stupid amount of telescopes watching the sky/space and crazy amount of ears listening for things and we have nothing (yet)

Alien craft obviously. There's loads of unidentified flying objects, doesn't mean they are alien, just means as it says 'unidentified'.
