It's beautiful. I wish Sega would do this for the Dreamcast.
The description says "original av port" or something. So I'm assuming rgb scart cables will work.I wonder what AV out cable it uses. They are not showing RGB cables in the accessories section. Do we have any back-shots of the ports?
What day? They were $200+ unless on sale.I remember them being 150 bucks back in the day. Funny thing is people will soon be paying that kind of money for AAA games on any platform. We already at 80 bucks……
I never new anybody who owned one but we all used to go Gaga over the screen shots of the games in CVG back in the day. Really was the arcade at home. And no one of us could afford one!![]()
Just bought one. I'm getting divorced.
Ten titles will be re-released alongside the Neo Geo+ AES on day one, each costing £69.99 / €79.99:
Both colors or what?Amazing. Just dropped $1800.
Ultimate, the White version and 2 extra controllers. Both colors or what?
The ultimate version is $1000 that has the black console three controllers a memory card and all the games (that are releasing on day one that is).
Can I borrow the black one while you play the white one? I have a Genesis 3 i can lend.Ultimate, the White version and 2 extra controllers.
Looks like it upscales to 1080pso no fancy upscaling features for a modern TV?
Looks like it upscales to 1080p
it will look like shit without any upscale filter.
Plan on using it with my PVMit will look like shit without any upscale filter.
The white one comes with a wireless stick and a game. It's $100 more expensive. They should have made the arcade stick wireless
Edit: It is wireless... so hype if it matches the original.
Edit 2: The one that comes with the console is wired only... Booo. This is such a rollercoaster of emotion.
I'll pre-order it and Metal Slug on Amazon.
Damn bro that sucks…it went smoothly when I preordered. So "US edition" is not available to ship to the US?
When I put it in my cart it says:
The product in your cart is not available for delivery to your location.
Apparently it's just some states. I changed my address to a random one in another state and it's fine.Damn bro that sucks…it went smoothly when I preordered.
It really sucks they have Samurai Shodown 5 and not 1~3. I never cared for any Samurai Shodown after 3.
It's not FPGA1 to 1?! It's a must
If is just a FPGA, then I'm not sure
SS5 Special is very expensive as it was the last game released. All the other games in the series are relatively cheap.Damn bro that sucks…it went smoothly when I preordered.

I got the console on sale for $450 and traded a shit ton of SNES and Genesis stuff to get it.

I wish for the same thing but with PS2.
It's still closer to the old thing than the FPGA you're suggesting. In fact since it's ASIC-based it's as close to the real deal as you can get both legally and realistically considering certain processors (i.e classic 68000 CPUs) are not really manufactured at all anymore by their parent companies (who in some cases don't exist now or have been acquired/merged by/into others).
Dunno why you're so hung up over other people being interested in this or excited about what opportunities it could open up for future reissues of old retro systems.
