Those shows have waaay too much filler and simply stuff I don't care about to watch them live.

Yeah, I am interested to see some of the reveals and Geoff's banter and such can be good, but I can't take it at regular speed without forwarding and skipping some sections.

Man remember the days when everyone was so hyped about E3? I miss that

I think its kinda the industry's own fault. There was a time where the creators in it genuinely aimed for new, ambitious, groundbreaking and innovative ideas. Now? Its just the same recycled shit with a different coat of paint 95% of the time. Something like Pragmata has become an unicorn to this industry when it somewhat used to be the norm. People kinda know what to expect. Its just made the audience/community numb to it all.

They've successfully managed to drain that feeling of individualism and originality in what they do. That's probably why there's more dimmed excitement about it these days than there usually was. Its just become overly corporatized, sanitized, sterilized and bureaucratic to a point where you could say they collectively shot themselves in the foot and they are none the wiser.
