You should give it a try with emulation, if for no reason other than Retro Achievements. This game has a pretty good set!Still play once a year.
Why, good looking indeed. That box art has become iconic, ngl.
Was an entry game, which, well at my age back then, served entirely its purpose.I've never replayed it, but aside from the music, I felt like it over simplified the RPG side a bit, and tried to make it more of a puzzle exploration game (which in some ways made it feel more NES-like). I definitely enjoyed it, but I don't remember it as fondly as FFII or FFIII on the SNES. Still enjoyed my time with it, but I guess I'd compare it to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. A side dish, that some enjoyed more than the main course.
I died on that cross to save humanity from these shitty games
GR8 ASS MUSIC
Imagine playing this game in '92, then 7th Saga one year later lol
Good for the soul and the hole.I too, enjoy ASS MUSIC
Based on some of the best fantasy books in existence. Amazing game for it's time.Better yet, Betrayal at Krondor was also a year later. Now that was a marvel of a game. Fusion between visual novel, RE4 inventory management, open world RPG with meaningful exploration (better than FFXVI), strategy RPG-like tactical combat on a grid, word puzzles for chests, and some awesome music, IMO even better than this game.
