Let's Talk Final Fantasy Mystic Quest

This was supposed to be an entry title for Final Fantasy in North America and Europe. Myself it absolutely did its job as a kid. What about you?

Soundtrack is still amazing to this day.

Loved it then, love it still. I have a soft spot for this game, despite it's obvious flaws.

I've never replayed it, but aside from the music, I felt like it over simplified the RPG side a bit, and tried to make it more of a puzzle exploration game (which in some ways made it feel more NES-like). I definitely enjoyed it, but I don't remember it as fondly as FFII or FFIII on the SNES. Still enjoyed my time with it, but I guess I'd compare it to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. A side dish, that some enjoyed more than the main course.

Was an entry game, which, well at my age back then, served entirely its purpose.

Garbage game I got it for free when I bought Zelda a link to the past.

I played it as a kid and finished it but took me awhile to figure out wtf I was doing.

It's way too basic.
