BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode Two |OT| The Debt Is Paid

I'm gonna play on Hard like I did with the main game and BaS Ep 1. It provides a decent enough challenge while still having enough stuff/money/ammo to have some fun.
I'll probably play it on easy first to whack out achievements, then go back to play it straight on 1998. I found that I avoided a lot of annoying encounters as situations if I had the lay of the land in Infinite so I imagine it'll be helpful here too.

OMG this game......the beginning.....its more impactful since i just finished infinite and episode 1 so everything is still fresh for me......the feels!

eh, time to hit the spoiler thread.

Okay, the first episode's ending was... Uh, weird, to say the least. It was fun for the couple of hours it lasted though, really excited to start the second episode in a minute.

What the fuck ... It's already downloaded, I just can't play.

Just started. The ending to the first episode was a little vague in how exactly it jived with the end of infinite. Even the context you get in the first few minutes of episode 2 would have been brilliant. Really good opening though, episode 2. Psyyyched to play more.

Without spoiling anything, I gotta say, this is weird as fuck so far lol.

This is definitely the Minerva's Den of Infinite.

PS3 user here... still have to play Ep.1, would I be able to download both 1 and 2 if I buy the online pass? Sounds alot cheaper doing this way instead of buying the single DLCs.

Indeed you would man, I just bought the season pass this morning then played through episode 1 during the day. You get the horde mode thing too, only single player though.

Okay, put 4 hours into it, I'm not sure how far I am in the game, I've been taking my time. Gonna continue tomorrow.

I will say this though, this is everything you wished/ hoped for when they announced DLC for Infinite.

Shit is marvellous.

It's up in the US PSN Store, but not in the in-game Season Pass Store yet. If you have the season pass, it's listed as Free in the PSN store.

Then 19,00 euros is better than 28 euros to me ^_^ going for the season pass, thanks!

Thank god, as a big fan of Infinite I had a hard time feeling that Ep 1 wasn't anything beyond half baked, great to hear that they went out with a bang and that the content is indeed lengthy

Just finished it, and even though it was my first go, I did it on 1998 mode which was fun to do.

So good, I don't know the proper length, but it was perfect. Really enjoyed the stealth. The story was great, too, but that's all I'll say on that.

Missed a few audio diaries and I didn't use any plasmid that wasn't Peeping Tom. So I'll head back for the last two achievements.

it's really that much of a chore to plug in your 360?

it's worth it. You obviously don't want to play it THAT bad if you can't take 5 min to plug in your 360.

Doubt there'll be a next-gen version. You may have to wait until PS Now gets up and running...

Or plug in your damn 360 :p

Is the DLC better than the main game? Worth if you didn't like the main game?

I'd say better than Episode 1, but on the whole I still like Bioshock Infinite better. You may or may not like some of the resolution given in the ending.

Of course, why would you bother playing this if you don't like Bioshock Infinite?

I thought it would be different from the main game. I liked the first Biochock more than Infinite.

what. the. fuck.

Someone didn't like Bioshock Infinite. Abandon all hope!

ah, me and my adult job. sigh. still, that's fast. Unless you're playing straight through for 8 hours.

Took me about 4-5 hours I'd say. Missed 2 audio diaries somewhere.

Honestly, it was good, it had some awesome moments for sure, but I still don't think either episode was as good as Minerva's Den. Not to sell this short though, this was leaps and bounds better than episode 1, and some of the tie-ins were seriously awesome and answered a lot of stuff... I guess I still have a soft sport for Minerva's Den though. Good news is I'll likely play through this another time or two in the near future so that feeling might improve :p.

Quick question GAF (first 20 minutes)

Am I supposed to know at this point which Elizabeth we're playing as? The one in Episode 1 was killed by the Big Daddy. So who is this and how did she know to go to Rapture to put right the wrong of Sally?

My guess is
I actually have no fucking clue. At first it seemed like the Lutece's manipulated space/time to bring her back so she could save Sally, but that doesn't really explain the loss of her powers.

this seems like the one from Vanilla Bioshock infinite because she keeps recalling memories from that one and relating to that one as if thats who she was. Don't know if you are actually playing her, but she is under the impression that she is her. at least that's what I got.

Question for those who have beaten it already - how many lockpicks will be needed? Should I be wasting money buying them from vendors or do you get tons of extras like in the main game?

I love how one of the first places you go into is
basically a porn shop and peep show.
