My GOTY would be TLOU Remaster (I never played the original, and it really is fantastic), but I've probably spent the most time on Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. It's so addictive!

Hmm, hard to choose a GOTY - discounting stuff like Xenoblade, Virtue's Last Reward and The Wonderful 101 that came out before this year, it's between Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors for console and Nintendo Pocket Football Club and Smash 3DS for handheld.
Haven't played Tropical Freeze, Smash U and Bayonetta 1/2 enough to consider them to be honest.

I really don't have much of a choice for me. Many of the games I played this year were from last year or earlier (The Binding of Issac, Shadow Warrior), so I'm gonna play it safe and select Wolfenstein: The New Order, even though I've yet to finish.
Though that might change if I ever get around to playing A Link Between Worlds.

I didn't even play that many games this year. I feel like I am slowly becoming less interested as time goes by, I just don't have the patience to play something that might be shit. I guess I would say the D3 expansion Reaper of Souls, Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, something I'm forgetting etc. I wanted to add Hotline Miami 2 to the list but fuckers haven't released it but also haven't changed the date even though it is obvious it's delayed.

Oh fuck, I completely forgot about Dark Souls 2! Damn, wonder what that says about the legacy of the sequel in my mind...I did enjoy my time with it, I stuck in until I got the platinum trophy just like I did for the original game. I think I just got burnt out quicker on the sequel than I did the original, I probably put like 200 hours into co-op and creating multiple characters etc with Dark Souls. For the sequel I probably only racked up 60-70 hours and most of those were trying to get all the spells and shit. Might go back to DkS2 at some point but I was glad to shelve the game back when I finished in July and I haven't had the desire to check out the DLC or anything yet since.
It's a cliche choice for GAF but my GotY was Bayonetta 2. Mario Kart 8 second and Smash third. That's it for games released in 2014 games (excluding FFX HD since it's a remaster) that I bought. Most of my gaming time was slowly eating away at my backlog.

My head feels like it is going to pop. I have just been playing RE4 - the (before and during) part in the castle where you have the two cranks that need turning by Ashley whilst you fight off the marauding hoard that are after her. She is up a level and you are stuck down on the floor having to protect her and yourself.

Not to kick you while you're down Cy, but I don't see going on a number of dates with someone as an indication of exclusivity. For me, unless it is explicitly discussed I remain realistic about the possibility of another person when I am not currently with someone. If that is a deal breaker for you in regards to dating, that may be something you want to bring up earlier in the future.

Haha! I do and I had to take a break for a while. It really was too much. They absolutely nailed the palpable fear from the first movie, something I didn't really think was possible.

Sweet baby John Carpenter, yes. I would love this. Especially if there was some kind of multiplayer element with player deception. Starcraft and Starcraft 2 maps based on the Thing are the best attempts that I know of.

Not complete exclusivity, no, but you don't expect her to be fucking someone else while dating you too. Maybe it's just me but I can't have sex with someone while seeing someone else. I know that's a serious case of pot/kettle/black as, I'm sure you'll remember, I was more than happy to sleep with someone who was engaged with kids, but I've grown up since then and my ideas of dating have changed.
