Tough one only 1-3 are good with Die hard and only 1-2 and 4-5 are good with Rambo.

First Blood almost shouldn’t count because it’s like a serious look at PTSD and NAM. It consider it to be a drama kind of like Rocky 1?

Plus Bruce Willis gave up on acting after 5th Element and just decided to be humorless.

I have a similar opinion of both series: 1-4 are amazing to good, 5 is a disgrace.

Die Hard 1, 2, and 3 are all good for different reasons. 1 is a cinematic masterpiece, so its sequels were always gonna be a step down. 2 is a perfectly enjoyable action flick, 3 is a fantastic ride, 4 is perfectly fine, but man - fuck 5.

Rambo 1 is a very different movie to all the rest. It's a masterpiece for a different reason. 2 and 3 are good, but they're just action movies. 4 is fine; almost tries to merge the feeling of 1 and 2. That it wasn't a complete turd after so long is a miracle in and of itself. But man - fuck 5.
