Watched the Vice tutorial, she is indeed sexy. I can't do her HD combos at all though.

For some reason I have no problem with leona HD combos though.

Nope. I've heard there are a lot of crazy stories in the FGC but I don't care *that* much to research. I just pick up the on the surface stuff like Dark Prince, etc.

Also I just got your GAF handle, and feel bad I didn't get it before since its so obvious D;

Everyone already offered answers so I don't know what to say. :(

I wish it was TTT2 you were playing but since you're in T6, the practice mode isn't as great. It's good but not great.

And you're also missing out on Jinpachi.

Anyway, you don't have to learn every move.

Out of the other list, I don't think you need to pick up the "easiest" character to learn or a character that makes a transition from 2D to 3D easier. First have to explore the roster and find that one character that best fits your playstyle. Doesn't matter how easy or hard you find that character, if the playstyle is to your liking, stick with that character.

As far as my personal recommendations if you're not sure of a character at all, I would say Alisa. Otherwise, if this was Tag 2, I would say Jinpachi definitely.

I hope you don't drop it. There's really a lot going on and it's overwhelming at first but stick with it and you'll find its charm.

That is the plan. I will start with the characters I know best, and in the meantime I will play the characters I know the least against Renic. Then I'll be better prepared for those videos.

I can tell you that the next few characters will probably be
---
EX Kyo/Kyo95/Daimon/Andy/Billy/Ryo/Mature/Clark/K'
---
in a random order. After those characters are done I'll get everyone else.

I skip out on watching aqua when I know he's streaming sometimes, forgive me.

There's only so many times I can watch him do something in game, switch the cam over to him, and stare at the camera while saying nothing.

It's pretty funny watching this place light up. Most of the time I just load up Guilty Gear for some practice instead.

Hahaha. All good.

Also, the Truth makes some good points about how noobies are treated and marketed towards. I've seen it first hand. Had one guy at a meet make fun of nigga because he was using PS3 pad and not a Madcatz stick...really pissed me off at the time and I blasted that guy for acting the way he did.

Are you going to hit TFC? I think that would be a rough major for KOF since Raleigh has a very strong KOF scene.

I'd have probably told him if he wanted pad to get a Hori FC3. One of the worst things I did was give that to an ex-gf so she could play the Ys games. (damn psycho)

That said, some communities really do treat new players like shit. It's a huge reason why I can't play some games period- the way I was treated by some folks in those communities made me just hate the game on reaction.
