What fighting games do you currently play, what are your all time favourites and why?
Lately I've been mostly playing Skullgirls, but I've been trying to get into Blazblue again recently. I'm having trouble picking a character that I really want to learn in the latter though. I also play Marvel and Street Fighter 4 occasionally.
Hmm, my all time favourites would probably be the Super Smash Brothers series in general (well besides Brawl) and Skullgirls. The gameplay is just very enjoyable in Smash and hard to find elsewhere. The platform dynamics, short combos, and the way the hits feel make it a very fun experience for me. Also this might be a shallow reason but I do like most of Nintendo's characters quite a lot, so being able to fight with them is one of the reasons I enjoy the series so much.
For Skullgirls, I think it's really fun to play and I love the support it gets from Lab Zero. The quality of the art is sharp and beautiful, it's very well animated and I like the character designs for the most part.

I really love assists. My most played fighting games this generation are Marvel and Skullgirls because of this. They allow players to experiment much more than usual, cover weaknesses or make characters more deadly. I guess it's sort of a form of customization.
My least favourite would be Super Smash Bros. Brawl's air dodges. Basically you could get hit and then airdodge after a certain number of frames regardless of the amount of histun/knockback you sustained which significantly lowered the amount of combos you could do in the game. It's just terrible.
What got you into fighting games? Are there any other genre of games you play?My least favourite would be Super Smash Bros. Brawl's air dodges. I've been playing fighters ever since I was a kid and I started out with Mortal Kombat 2 on the Genesis, but I only really ever had the desire to get better and not just mash buttons when I played Soul Calibur 2 and SSBM. From there I started taking fighters more seriously, but it was mostly just my friends, siblings and I figuring out stuff on our own and competing against each other. I think I only began looking for opponents outside of my circle when I started playing Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and other super niche fighters in like 2010ish.
Besides fighters I find myself mostly playing platformers, action games, and RPGs. But I'll play any genre as long as the mechanics, level design and such seem interesting to me. I only have so much time though, so I still have to be somewhat picky!

Hmm, I don't know if I really have one. I really like Dormammu from Marvel Vs Capcom 3. He has an excellent moveset with lots of interesting tools like the dark spells and Stalking Flare along with some good mobility options. He looks great visually and just sounds really cool too!
Describe your style of play, and how do you play (local, online, etc.).
I don't think I really have a style that I stick to 100%. It really depends on the game and character for me.
I generally only play online, but I do have some offline matches with my brother or cousins whenever they're around.
What do you feel are your biggest strengths and weaknesses as a player?I generally only play online, but I do have some offline matches with my brother or cousins whenever they're around.
I don't really get mad when I lose, and I don't really get scared or nervous when I'm fighting a stronger player. I'd say my one weakness is that I'm slow to adapt when I'm losing in a long set which leads me to getting hit by a lot of the same stuff over and over.
Best and worst moments in the your fighting game career?
I haven't had much of a fighting game career haha. The first and only tournament I ever entered was a SSBM tournament at my highschool where I got 3rd. I lost to my brother and one of my friends. The prize was a gift card for Best Buy and my brother ended up getting 1st.
What do you want from future fighting games?
A lot of things actually! I won't mention all of them though. Since I primarily play online I'd like every game to have excellent netcode and at the very least I would want it to be as good as Skullgirls'. I'd also want lobbies that allow more than one match to be going on at once. I think only Blazblue and Skullgirls do this at the moment? I'm not entirely sure if there are any others. An in-game online replay gallery where players can upload replay data, and view matches based on views, ratings and categories like match of the week and such would be good too.
More training mode options and less hidden data. Like Frame Data that is in the game, but not just in the command list. In Skullgirls you have the option in training mode to view frame data actively, so whenever you do a move it will show the numbers and other useful information on the screen. Stuff like a hitbox viewer should be in every game too. Being able to send training mode recordings to other players would be nice too.
More interesting single player challenges that force the player to think about their playstyle and the decisions they have to make in a fight with their character. Challenges that teach the basics, advanced techniques and some fighting game terminology are a must as well. Also I don't know how difficult this would be to implement, but being able to make your own combo challenges like the ones they have in Blazblue and some others games and sending it to other players so that they can try it would be amazing as well.
Please don't make really bad characters (e.g. Hsien Ko in Marvel 3)! I know there will always be top and bottom tiers, but I would like it if the gap in power wasn't so enormous between them. Stop making stages that have framerate issues as well.
