I agree this wasn't the best Demo Derby, but I always enjoy it regardless for the nostalgia trip, the history lesson from Jeff and general shenanigans from Drew & Dan.

Listening to Danswers and I continue to disagree with basically everything they say.

Still enjoying the podcast but I wouldn't be surprised if at some point something breaks and I start finding the whole thing insufferable.

You must have some pretty strong/unusual feelings towards relationships because almost all their advice is that typical well-meaning-and-safe-because-you-don't-know-their-actual-complete-situation type friend advice.

It wasnt the best Demo derby but it was decent.

Also it was a good reminder that the PS1 became the licensed kids game system pretty much immediately after the PS2 shipped and it stayed that way for a good long time.

I thought the Demo Derby was amazing, if only because shitty licensed late-era PS1 games are a huge part of my childhood. Yes, I have played that Monsters Inc game many times before

same for me, but roll it a few years back. holy crap I played a bunch of shitty licensed SNES games. like this crummy Rocko's Modern Life game. it actually looks pretty good and it's not a bad concept but the video doesn't really demonstrate just how poorly it controlled. or some of the worst collision detection ever implemented.

It's pretty early on, and honestly there's not much to it beside her possibly being interested in guesting on Danswers at some point.

i played through monsters inc and finding nemo on gba

a double pack of hot garbage

this was well after the movies (or the games themselves, for that matter) came out, i don't know why i did what i did

I guess that i'm lucky in that I outgrew kids licensed games in the early to mid 90s, so most of the stuff I played (SNES Aladdin, Turtles in Time) was actually pretty good. Those PS1 games looked like torture.

I had that game!

It was that bad I dunno.

I also had batman forever on gameboy and that game was trash. I could never beat the second level and half the moves never worked right or needed insane fighting game combos to pull off which weren't in the manual. The music was good though.
