for me halo was always that 1 guy against the universe, that sense of being a badass and that everyone knew not the mess with you, also the fact that you were the last spartan alive, it made it even more cool but that magic for me it is lost, will get for MP but what i always enjoyed the most in halo were the campaigns and this seems to take an ever crazier turn than halo 4 didthis is actually closer to the lore which is great
+1I hope Master Cheif beats the shit out of them
Spartans have always been described as being able to do this kind of stuff. I have no problem with this representation, and I see this interpretation of Spartan ability as being the best fit for a movie, were one to ever happen.
It is different, but I can't deny it wasn't incredibly well done.this is so far from the HALO bungie created, sad day for me![]()

AMAZING.
Hyped levels through the ROOF!!!
#HALO5 #TEAMCHEIF
good for you, im happy for you, for me it went form a incredible personal experience to a mindless big battle, halo was never that, it was always 1 against the rest but im glad you enjoy this new directionyou mean Bungie's way of not showing any battle cutscenes with the Chief/ Marines? yeah I'd rather take this

When you compare it to the Halo 3 opening though, it does seem to lack some... What's the word? Refinement?
Halo 3 has some subtlety to it, a touching and personal scene that sets the stage of A more insular story about the struggle of one Spartan. This is like a scene out of The Avenges by comparison.

Well like I said, that's not the entire intro.
Ah okay, fair enough. I did not know that, either way I was incredibly impressed with the trailer. It just, like the other member said, felt different.Well like I said, that's not the entire intro.
I know, I just watched it again... just 57 days away but still feels like forever!
Rendered with in game assets as basis. Basically CG as far as this conversation is concerned but the majority of cinematics will be in engine.

Very cool. I don't have a bone yet, but I'm hoping my wife will get me one for Christmas this year.
