Nice images. There are many bright spots on its surface, not just those 2 seen in previous images. Those are brighter, though. My guess is that those are either spewing ice from its interior or they're inner ice layers exposed by recent impacts.

In January of last year, ESA detected plumes of water vapor coming off of the dwarf planet.

And now, as we are getting close-up images, these bright spots have appeared. Ice seems to be the logical conclusion.

This is really fascinating stuff! Even if it is just ice, that's crazy to think that ice fields that large and noticable exist on Ceres. Do they hide a secret? Of course they do!

It doesn't have to be ice, but it is a very high probability that Ceres is ice covered by dust. So yeah, it's probably ice.
