Why do I get the feeling people in the near future are going to look back at this and see the foggy art direction as something looking outdated?

overall its looks a good shooter with what looks to be a better then average story though from the gameplay footage Ive seen it looks like a game Ive played many times before.
The lighting and IQ seems nice
but it has small environments all the time,animation is a bit janky and the art direction seems a bit drab

I think I could play through this and enjoy it, though my hype trains has broke down on this one.
Got to give credit to RAD on what seems to be good next gen game though.

= in other words, my point on the inconsistency.

Now, I am colour blind on red so this obviously doesn't help but if you compare the 4 different parts, then they are not the same level.

Or am I wrong?

Great gif btw though and exactly what I want to see.

Hope EU doesn't get shafted like TLOU, so I'll be holding off buying until I know. Sony will not be getting a free pass from me if this is censored.

To those who appear 'over sensitive' to any form of question other than one which sucks off a Sony game, please grow the fuck up ffs.

My observation is a legitimate point, especially considering I own a ps4 AND that the blood does NOT show consistency as follows:-

- the vaporised head
= NO BLOOD

- the shot grenade
= NO BLOOD

- the revolver to the face
= NO BLOOD

- the shotgun to the legs
= BLOOD and a great effect, yes please!

So, how why do I need to move the goalposts again or ....

Please explain. Thanks.

edit: Please don't say the vapour smokey stuff (which may be red don't forget I'm colourblind) is the same.

I wonder if there will be a Spanish dub with Latin American voice actors. Not that I will play it in Spanish but it'd be interesting to compare the quality between both Spanish versions.

Look to the right when he shoots him in the face, you see some spray or blood going to the right . Look to the left side of the face/body with the electric gun, you see something shoot off and spray to the left and up then sprays down it seems. It might not be super apparent but I see what looks like blood to me.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but I think it doesn't look great, in comparison to say the shotgun to the legs one.

Can't understand why but it practically disperses into thin air on those other three which looks naff. Again, such a contrast to other times/details within the game.

I remember shooting the clicker the first time in TLOU and loving the effect or in KZ2.

I'm not blood thirst crazy btw!!! :-0 lol!

I've watched this trailer about 4 times now and the hype is just growing. I'm gonna be a responsible video game consumer and wait for some early reviews/impressions before buying, but I'm almost surely going to get this game.

(and if anyone wants to mustache-ify me...feel free, thanks)

It might just depend on the enviroment and how close you are. I mean granted the shotgun he is up close and you can cleary see it splatter on the ground. My guess is depending where your hitting the enemies and the stlye of the enviroment, to the amount it might seem more clear or visable then others if that makes sense.

WOW. This trailer. I've had mild skepticism but damn, this game looks fucking awesome, I'm there day 1.

Perhaps it'll get fixed closer to release, or maybe its just a typo or something. It says 'Released February 20th' but in my order it says it'll be received '23rd to 25th'...which I'm not sure why they wouldn''t ship it before release day. Oh well.

I don't think it's wise to say there's no blood in certain scenes of a gameplay trailer directly after saying you're colourblind to the colour of blood...

There's very clearly blood in each one of those scenes.

Especially when a couple of those are in Blacksight, which puts a color filter over the screen. He probably just can't see it.

Got to love the drive by shit posting :).

The art direction especially the character's outfits are freaking amazing. They look like they actually exist in that era.

SAME goes with some of the weaponry, minus the tesla gun.

I don't think your going to win this argument, even thought it's not much of an argument as the Order looks stunning.
