Three Wii U VC games for Europe this week? When was the last time that had happened?

Hoping the Americas are just as prolific.

Not sure if posted, Ubisoft it's having a sale from now 'til march 31. WiiU & 3DS games.

http://www.nintendo.com/eshop/offers

Up to 50% on some games.

Good for them. Eshop sales of old games is a great idea. Theres no reason for ubisoft ea and etc to not do this. When i see Need For Speed at 60 on the eshop... thats very lame, its probably selling 0 copies per week

Unfortunally, the only Ubisoft game i wanted is zombiu, and i already have that

But i hope you all get a lot of games

Special offer for Mario Kart 8 available to everyone who buys Super Mario Kart:
From 30/05/2014 until 30/06/2014 only, you will be able to save £5.49 / €7.99 on Mario Kart 8 if you buy Super Mario Kart at any time before buying Mario Kart 8 from Nintendo eShop!

They really should've been doing stuff like this with other games.

Link to the Past with Wind Waker HD
Super Mario World with any of the WiiU Mario games
etc.

Would think it would have a positive effect on driving WiiU game sales.

  • Just Dance Kids 2014 (Ubisoft | $20.99 until 03/31, then $29.99)

A few more from before are still active too:

  • Darksiders II (THQ | $19.99 until 4/1, then $59.99)
  • Nano Assault Neo (Shin'en | $7.49 until 4/10, then $9.99)
  • Wheel of Fortune (THQ | $19.99 until 4/1, then $49.99)
  • Jeopardy! (THQ | 19.99 until 4/1, then $49.99)

For as critical as I've been regarding lack of sales in the eShop (especially disc titles), I have to give props where it's due. I wish it was always this active. Granted some of these titles' sale prices should be their regular prices by now, but I'll probably pick up Zombi U this week and maybe Darksiders II.

I assume it'll be at Noon ET/9 AM PT, but reminder that Conception 2 demo is out today on the eShop. Need to find the demo thread & bump it once one or both the 3DS & Vita demos are out.

I like your optimism. But comparing Japan's VC to the US's, "no doubt" feels strong. April 3rd is a Thursday though. It just concerns me that Japan's Direct had solid dates and several titles mentioned while the US one just said "April" with only a couple of games confirmed. Not sure what Europe said.

I have most of the launch line-up due to the 3DS Ambassador program. I'd be interested in checking out Golden Sun or Advance Wars 1+2 though. Is $6 a pop confirmed, or just a guesstimate based on the prices in Yen?

Yeah, I wouldn't expect the GBA VC on April 3rd in the West.

Na. My money's on April 10th though

Anybody here play Kid Icarus for the gameboy or Number Battle? I have enough coins to get both games this month but I'm not sure if I'll like either one. I never got very far in the NES KI, and Number Battles is an older DSiware game. Would anyone vouch for either, or should I wait for next month?

Wouldn't surprise me if Yoshi's Island, Metroid Fusion and Mario & Luigi join it on launch day :)

Yeah, whatever. There will be Advance Wars!
Edit: To be fair, I'm also looking forward to Mario & Luigi since I've never played that.

Kid Icarus is an okay game, I guess. But unless you desperately want to play something like it, I would recommend to skip it.

Woo. Wonder what else is coming :)

Nothing. One GBA VC Game per Month and again Japan gets all the love :'(

11 Title for Japan in one Month is just amazing and in comparison rather incredible. Maybe from now on the Wii U VC will deliver? (even in the west)

Frustrating how many people simply don't believe the reasons for no GBA games on 3DS.

(Also I don't like Advance Wars)

I'm probably going to get banned because I'm somewhat starting to lose my temper in that discussion.

They just think it's something that can be fixed. It's just not physically possible. People are so used to trashing Nintendo now that it's what they do, and ignore the facts when brought to them.

Too bad they didn't give the price for GBA games, but my guess is : 7.99€. I mean :

NES : 4.99€ (with some early games being 3.99€)
SNES : 7.99€
N64 : 1000 points (9.99€)
GB : 3.99€/4.99€
GBC : 4.99€/5.99€
GBA : 7.99?
DS : probably 9.99€

I recall they cost about...600 yen in Japan? That's about $6. I would be surprised if they cost less than SNES games ($8). Then again, another dollar or two more than GBC games would make sense.

People on this site want what they want and refuse to accept that there could ever be reasons why what they want isn't feasible. They're like children.

According to Nintendo, the Conception 2 demo is now up on the eShop. Can't check for about another 30 minutes, so someone else will have to confirm this.

If it's not up, I'd say give it a few more minutes since they tend to update at 9 AM PT/Noon ET.

Given their Japanese pricing I expect something lower than 8€. But it shouldn't be very long until we know anyway.

Pricing seems to vary (some SNES game being 800 Yens, others 900 Yens), so I'm not sure. Probably gonna be 600 Yens for the cheapest games, 700/800 Yens games for the most expensive games.

Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion will be definite purchases. (And the Treasure developed Astro-Boy if they release it).

I would be amazed (& ecstatic) if that happened. Still have the cart from when I was a kid. Trying to remember if I wanted it because it was Treasure (i.e "OMG THE PEOPLE THAT DID GUNSTAR HEROES" as I called them) &/or because Toonami was showing Astro Boy at the time.

Certainly was better than that PS2 game, that's for sure.

How convenient, JP has 11 games scheduled already. That will make it super easy for NoA to drip out one title per month over the next year!

What's annoying is that it infects every single VC thread. I am of the opinion that it deserves a thread to inform the masses. I would do it, but I'm not even nearly knowledgeable enough on the matter.
