Sure we haven't seen it yet (again, we've only had three short trailers or so), but what in the world does that have to do with you saying that this is just a game about looking at neat things? And that the hype is over the top. Or that people will be disappointed when it's released.
Fuck man, I just don't understand the impetus behind posting that sort of stuff. If people are excited about a universe exploring game, then why repeatedly come into a trailer thread with increasingly exaggerated concern?
I think the game concept sounds awesome. I think the visuals are really neat. I hope it turns out to be amazing.
However....I have been a gamer a long time and I know a thing or two.
I have heard big talk before.
There are a number of things that concern me and rightfully so. Some examples and reasons why:
- This is a small team
- The hype levels are unrealistic
- I am concerned about randomly designed planets missing a designer's touch
- I am concerned that enemy AI will be meh because of the small team. It is hard to pull off good AI
-I am concerned that this will be a big empty game will little to interact with besides finding random resources in random places and pressing a button to gather them.
-What does exploring planets mean? Flying around randomly generated planets and spotting a plant or rock that you need then just simply gathering it?
If you can't see why I have doubts then I don;'t know what to say. You don't have to have doubts but you should at least understand why I have them
