OP can you please post the Facebook comment that was made? Not everyone follows them on Facebook. This thread needs some context.
I don't think this press statement is anything to do with the game, and everything to do with not wanting to be associated with people using the term "SJW" pejoratively.

More like, "we still are not going to release it (because it will sell very little and could give us some bad publicity, even if thats stupid), but we fired the guy who said literally what we were going to do, and with this statement make you think theres still is a chance to be released, when theres really not, so you are not so mad at us"
That or they plan to release it, but they prefer hardcore fans to buy the asian version, and then the other version when its released in a year. More money, and doesnt make them look bad.
No way. People who want to see an "SJW" conspiracy will still see one. They'll just blame them for silencing that PR guy in addition to preventing the game from getting released in the west.
Good on KT for trying to clear this up, but it probably won't change much.

The fact that it's against a black background with a splash of red in the logo make it seem grimly somber.
He said that the company didn't want troubles with bad press about how they treat women.
He was also a bit aggressive.

It could, but apparently no plans yet since Marie's English VA is kinda pissed about this whole situation.
Its basically the fault of a company too concerned with its image that it will not localize games a group of people want to see. The guy said the truth, but in relation to how risk averse Koei Temco is against backlash.
He did the worse thing you could do as a community manager. Make a hate group talk positive about you.

The sad part is people are blaming the feminist culture and not Koei for being such cowards. Why should it matter what a group of people will say if you have the legal right to sell games here? Marvelous doesn't stop just cause some people might complain or be offended at their content.

Yep. A relative ton of lewd games made it over this year, most unscathed. KT refusing to release this outside of Japan/Asia has everything to do with KT.
It's also not like a bit of controversy would be bad for the game it helped Dragons Crown.

What's with the "coward" talk still hanging around? All we know is that they're not currently planning on bringing it out in the west. Feel free to ascribe whatever motive you think makes sense but assuming it as fact is exactly what the people bemoaning "sjws" are doing.
