How is Starfield, a game made by roughly 400 people, now a "super-expensive AAAA" game?
Because its been in production for 6 years with a huge staff!

I always though Sean was at least 6'2-6'3 with how lanky and long his arms look.Todd's a shorty, no disrespect to all the shorties out there lol
I'm calling it, Sean Murray is at least 5'11! I can tell, his torso looks much longer than Todds. I've looked at a lot men's torsos... I know.
No Man's Skyrim
Wow that headline will certainly get a lot of clicks.
It's all fun and games, unless it's about a Sony game.
i ll just leave this here since people has short term memories
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame one me, some ppl here are going to get fooled thrice, wait and dont pre-order No Man's Skyrim is my warning.
Those devs love technology so one day they will add ray-tracing and game will look perfect.Joking aside No Man's Skyrim looks good enough.
It's not OMFG THE POWER OF NEXT GEN!, but it's more than adequate. The real question is how hard will it be for modders to take it further.
After Cyberpunk 2077 I'm always pessimistic by default with any game on any platform. Starfield looks pretty good but not breath taking next gen good, certainly not enough to sway me into purchasing an XBSX. I am slightly tempted to buy No Man's Sky now though. Starfield looks more realistic to me and No Man's Sky looks more cartoon like imo.
Don't tell that to Zeroing
They've been embarrassing for quite some time. Especially with Kotaku-like wOkE articles over the years.Sad state of affairs.
Embarrassing article for them.
Ahh so gonna be a good game then.i wonder how different the reception would be if it wasn't xbox exclusive plenty of people enjoyed Skyrim/Fallout 4 but now fuck Bethesda apparently lol
i bet when this launches Bethesda will be hounded for bugs/performance issues. usually they get a pass but Starfield will be compared to Cyberpunk. mark my words.
All the rpg channels and forums i follow seem to love it. I think most people think that hyper realistic cinematic games are the standard for ALL genre and not just that very specific genre which isn't nearly as ambitious as their rpg counterparts. The reception really wasn’t good, huh? There are too many articles trying to turn the tide around this game. Wow.

Why though? Most have played Bethesda RPG's for years and they weren't owned by anyone until now. Post don't make sense.Lets be real here, Xbox fanboys would shit on this game if Bathesda wasnt acquired by MS.
PlayStation fanboys right now ...
Where is VFXveteran when we need him...
People are going off the deep end now.Who was expecting a "hyper realistic cinematic game"?. Nothing about "Skyrim in space" points to that nor does Bethesda's prior work.
Source that people were expecting that? All the rpg channels and forums i follow seem to love it. I think most people think that hyper realistic cinematic games are the standard for ALL genre and not just that very specific genre which isn't nearly as ambitious as their rpg counterparts.
You got that right, but not in the way you think.People are going off the deep end now.
Enlighten us.You got that right, but not in the way you think.
Interesting because this is what the game really looks like. Not sure if it's a graphically error but nice choice in the picture
The problem with the article and the comparison in general is the gargantuan differences between NMS and a Bethesda RPG.That’s not a hot take, it’s true.
Starfield I’m sure will be good, but damn if it doesn’t come off looking like No Man’s Sky with a drab Fallout 3 color palette, and CoD shooting.
They could have been framerate wise. And people thought Starfield was a contenter for GOTY against Elden Ring.
You've played Starfield? And people thought Starfield was a contenter for GOTY against Elden Ring.
Don't edit shit talk in later if you didn't have the balls to say it originally. They are on topic. Funny to boot.
Memes are fun, hypocunts bitching about hpyocunts, not so much.

Quite it or shut the fuck up.
I can't make much of a guess at all based on the trailer shown. I'm assuming that the core gameplay centers around quests in the large city centers. I don't have much of an idea what those look like, how different they are from each other etc. I have no idea about the interworkings of the resource system (are we collecting resources to use or to trade?), etc.You can make an educated guess. Game is not neccisarely bad, it's just not Elden Ring level.
