If it's not backwards compatible they should really look for a better name than PS4. No reason to keep the name if you aren't keeping the platform.

The rumors don't suggest whether or not the OS will take advantage of SSDs. But one thing I might be concerned about regarding the rumors is the constant recording while playing. That can shorten the life of an SSD with the constant writes.For those people who are more technically minded do the rumors look like something that would benefit from a SSD? I know we dont even know if you will be able to swap drives in the new PS3 (i doubt we will given the vita approach but I still hope) but im kind of hoping that we will be able to. SSD makes a small difference on PS3 and a huge difference on PC and as the ps4 is supposed to be close to PC im wondering if we will see something like that for a performance increase if we swap drives, again assuming we can.
I think this one has a ton of potential for this thread. Just needs some SunhiLegend levels of magic to really exploit it.

What kind of logic is this.
Makes more sense than naming incompatible products as if they were compatible. That would be deceptive.

If the PS4 isn't revealed this thread will be hilarious in hindsight.
So, what's your opinion on the SNES?

Haha that's the thing though... After effects is relatively easy. Being hilarious cant be learned.It's the implementation that's amazing to me. That's some ninja-level Photoshop skills.

wow nice find. very interesting.Rösti;47477838 said:I looked more at the source of http://www.playstationmeeting.com and noticed this (in XHR):
The video (http://content.bitsontherun.com/videos/lWMJeVvV-364767.mp4) is Giuseppe Vetrano's Alone in New York from 2010. We know that the PlayStation Meeting is going to be in New York. Is this video supposed to tell something or is Giuseppe involved somehow in all this, maybe he has directed some PlayStation related video for the event?Code:<!--<script type="text/javascript" src="./js/jwplayer/jwplayer.js" ></script> <script>jwplayer.key="EfSoZAEG6uTpMz+F3InIA2xLmnNycO7rJoJTbg=="</script> <script src="/jwplayer/jwplayer.js"></script> <script>jwplayer.key="W+CPn+rhJZfRYSrmUE2mo0R23xoGrwG3jerdATBEp3Q="</script>--> <div class="content-block-video"> <div style="margin: 0 auto; text-align: center; width: 560px;"> <!--<div id="myElement">Loading the player...</div> <script type="text/javascript"> function redirect() { window.location.href='index.html'; } /*file: "http://content.bitsontherun.com/videos/lWMJeVvV-364767.mp4", image: "http://www.longtailvideo.com/content/images/jw-player/lWMJeVvV-876.jpg",*/ jwplayer("myElement").setup({ file: "/video/video.mp4", image: "/video/video.jpg", width: '720', height: '405' }); jwplayer().onComplete(function() { redirect(); }); </script> </div>-->
