I work at a restaurant, and as anyone in Canada knows today is the start of Stampede week where all the gay brokeback fags come out of hiding and celebrate our shitty heritage.

Anyhoo, there was a notice posted on the bulletin board at work yesterday saying that we have to (shits MANDATORY) dress up in cowboy gear. Now, I'm a server, so running around in big cowboy boots, a hat, etc. is going to be about the most uncomfortable thing in the world...but I guess I have no choice, so I went with it.

Excuse my english because I don´t know the correct translations, but they interviewed me as a Legal Adviser about in the following case: The city of Aachen (for no better description) "tricked" a 90-year-old couple into cancelling a contract they had with a local funeral director and ordered them to use the money they saved for their own funeral for the costs of the retirement home they were living in.

To make a long story short, the jurisdiction clearly states that such behavior from a public administration is illegal, but the city claimed "they didn´t knOw about" these verdicts and refused to comment on camera. As the little Consumer protection Agency I work for is kind of an opinion leader in Germany on all (legal) matters concerning seniors, death, funerals and burial grounds and I am the leader of the Legal Department, they asked if I could give an Interview instead and comment on the matter.

"they didnt knew about" should be "they didnt know about" because they DID(nt) is the past-tense and KNOW remains present tense

eg,

I knew him
I did not know him

English is dumb :lol

PS. Im saying this because I suspect you would want to know these things and improve your English, not because I think its a big deal
