well there's also the time and expense of international shipping.

I never order stuff from the US. A lot of places won't ship internationally, plus it just takes too long to get here.

I will admit that I've been tempted to make a customized freitag bag, though...

heh, yeah well freitag is obviously easy to get here. but EVERYONE is walking around with one. they've become kinda boring. never owned one.

as for the whole money thing: it's basically just like with videogames... even with the additional cost of international shipping t-shirts are usually still cheaper if you order them from the US. switzerland is hella expensive.

time? who cares. i'm not gonna get THAT particular shirt i like anytime sooner... 2-3 weeks? eh. it's not like i NEED the shirt RIGHT NOW. i'd have to stop importing A LOT of stuff from the US if that bothered me.

That's probably true.

The whole reason I wanted to get a freitag bag was because of reusing resources, lower environmental footprint. But then air shipping it from switzerland pretty much negates all that

haha no. i have a rather healthy lifestyle. i like my food fresh and european. i mostly import games, movies, books, music - stuff like that - and occasionally clothes.
