It actually might be even better. You have the pointing with the gyro, and adjust it with the analog. You might have a disadvantage by going Wiimotes only.
It's also nice to see a little bit more diversity in the Inklings than in the E3 build. I know some people were concerned.
Someone here said the enemies are called Octacles. I know they're based on octopi, but where are you guys getting the name from? Where did Nintendo say they're called that?

I didn't read the whole thread, but did anyone notice that there appears to be a 2D segment in the video footage?
I noticed it, Im hoping it is like a minigame segment in the single player campaign or something along those lines.I didn't read the whole thread, but did anyone notice that there appears to be a 2D segment in the video footage?
Nope. I had no interest in Wii U until I saw the Splatoon trailers, plus learning that Stealth Inc 2 was Wii U-exclusiveIs it weird if this is the only game that has me wanting a WiiU?
You know what? Those octopi look like Absolutely Disgusting. Since they can't swim and jump the way Inklings can in squid form, that's why they're so mad over being stuck in the campaign, unable to do MP.
