I just made a thread about efforts to reverse Florida's lifetime disenfranchisement laws against ex-felons. 10% of Floridians of all races, backgrounds, and political affiliation are ex felons and thus unable to vote due to these laws. This includes 25% of African-Americans that live there. A petition is being formed that can get a reversal of this law on ballots in 2018, but only if 700k+ Floridians sign it.
