Beyond the Beyond and Bravely Default are any better?
Beyond the Beyond actually sounds a bit poetic.
Beyond the Beyond and Bravely Default are any better?
..........
You guys know this isn't a S-E game right? All the S-E people who are working on this game left the company years ago.
I wouldn't be surprised that if it came out it was still XSEED. Sounds like whatever's going on with FuRyu is a fundamental problem that will get in the way of working with others and possibly agitate them more, but then again they could shape themselves up for this, especially if they've been growing/became more experienced and will be better about the localization work on their end.Well, if you cross off S-E and XSEED, who else is there?
Atlus? Not impossible, I suppose.
Aksys? They probably have enough on their plate as it is.
NIS? Do they even care about 3DS?
Rising Star Games? They seem reliant on hand-me-downs from NA publishers at this point.
Natsume? A lot of their localisations come out of left field, but most of their established partners go way back, so...

Also I do wonder how much of it is NIS just not getting good opportunities for localization on 3DS or whatever. I would be surprised if they had a serious aversion to releasing there, and if they do it's most likely rooted in either their base or the games their base wants being more firmly established on PlayStation platforms. Which seems a problem for development, but not necessarily localization.
EDIT: Of course, it WOULD figure if we fail to get some Japanese games from ex-SE and whoeverelse staff just because they went to work for developers/publishers that were pains in the ass about having any of their stuff leave Japan.
LOL Beyond the Beyond.
HOLY SHIT THAT MUSIC!!!
GORGEOUS!!!
A SaGa game but with a stupid name and good music? It's like porn with ugly people, iffy but still can get the job done.
I don't like the chibi art style, but day one if it's localized.
Oh yeah the name makes no sense.
Viglink is an ad revenue thingOh god oh god a new SaGa game? OH GOD
Also, wtf, when I went to copy/paste that link in IRC, it got mutilated into an api.viglink.com URL?
So its not Greezo, right? The game is confirmed to be developed by Cattle Call, who also worked on the Metal Max games on DS, as well as Metal Max 4 on 3DS. They also worked with ArtePiazza on the DQ remakes on DS as well as Opoona on Wii.

Whoa, it just clicked that the guy who did the logo design for the game is the same Tadahiko Kawaguchi who was formally at Namco. He was the director/art director for Seven and Venus & Braves. No wonder the logo looked so familiar. Too bad he doesn't make games anymore. He just seems to write music and do artwork these days.
Are company still announcing games? I got this on my newsfeed which look like a 3ds game.

The game already entered in Amazon Top 25.

Nice. Hope this game being succesful, will allow us to get this game.^_^
We need more SaGa goodness for sure.
No wonder this game looks really nice and kinda polished. The fact that Cattle being its developer also ease my heart here. I really like Metal Max 4 here.^_^
Can you give impressions of MM4? It looks really bad as an outside observer.
The fact that many other Gaffers and Jrpg fans does not seems to know or praise this game also break my heart.T_T
