I agree with the GB guys. That whole ending bit felt like an appeal to the public in the shadow of the potential Vivendi takeover.
http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=206822253What did they show for pc?
I really don't know what to believe from that Wildlands gameplay demo.
Did the players actually choose to go in with stealth to gather intel as stated, or were they actually required to do so for the mission? Did the VIP only escape in the vehicle because the player allowed himself to be seen, or is that a canned sequence that always happens? Was the chase along the road how that mission really plays out? Or will it be like GTAO and with its waves of enemy vehicles that spontaneously spawn in to kill the players?
I've got no idea what to take away from that demo but all of my spider senses are tingling.
Agree, south park, for honor and steep looked fresh and fun to me. Hell even watchdogs 2 seems to improve significantly on the original and i'm excited exploring that city with that smooth parkour system.
Ubisoft killed it again as usual. By far the best conference and I don't see Sony changing that. An opening too amazing for words, great games, diversity, the expected stuff all looked great and there was some cool fun surprises too. Steep looks fantastic. Great way to close. And it was just an all round entertaining conference. Good job as usual Ubi. They're my favourite third party AAA publisher for a reason and they showed that well today.
We watched the same conference right?
They did. They have. They are.How do people still fall for incredibly scripted vertical slices like this? lol your spider senses should have tingled years ago.
Literally all that impressed me even a little were For Honor and Steep. Everything else looked dull and South Park was just annoying.
- Why are those VR games so ugly? I know they have to be locked 60fps even on ps4 but damn, those things looked like HD Ps2 games
The one that had South Park, For Honour, Steep, Watch Dogs 2, Trials Blood Dragon, Aisha and Queen, right? We watched the same conference right?
An appeal to their employees too.
In a recent interview he hinted that if Vivendi took over the company he might start over again with the talented people of Ubisoft who'll "flee" after the takeover. Right now he's still trying building a "partnernship" to block the takeover.

UBi annoncing only Just Dance for NX.
Oh boy this bode well.

People not allowed to have different opinions anymore? I love open worlds, so WD2 and Ghost Recon interest me a lot. I'm also really hyped for Steep, if they manage to capture 10% of the thrill of backcountry snowboarding it'll still be amazing. To each their own taste...
MS was solid. Not much really excited me though. I said I don't see Sony changing that. They could surprise me, but he past few years don't give me confidence. Ubi have had my favourite conference at E3 for years now, and they delivered for me today.I was excited for Steep, and For Honor and South Park looked great. But to call it "the best conference by far and Sony can't change that" seems hyperbolic. MS's conference was great too and Bethesda's was solid.

Nintendo is going to win E3.
😵
Thought For Honor looked cool.
Wish I could see Sony live but I need to sleep. Excited to wake up. See the Sony conference and finally see some Zelda gameplay.
That final sendoff from Yves really left me feeling weird. The compilation of Ubi games over the years, bringing all devs on stage, it felt like he was saying goodbye or something.

Oh yeah and STAR TREK VR!
I know it's hard to judge it with what little was shown but still I love the idea and at least on a concept level I've never been so excited to try a VR game.
