Fireblend said:Bangai-O. Kirby Superstar is also a great choice, but Bangai-O! is just too addictive.
Also, finish the Phoenix Wright series! The third game is by far the best.
faceless007 said:If you like Hotel Dusk you might want to check out Cing's first adventure game for the DS, Trace Memory. There's also the Trauma Center series if you want to try something new.
I disagree about Bangai-O. Once you get used to it most levels become pretty easy and won't require more than a little thinking and a couple of tries, although yes, it can get very frustrating and "hardcore" at times. The addictiveness more than makes up for it though; it's great and the replayability is infinite if you liked the game. You're more likely to sink more time into say, Fire Emblem.diffusionx said:I would go with DQIV or Professor Layton, but since you have adventure but few RPG I would go with DQIV. Bangai-O is a cool game but pretty hardcore, so stay away unless you want to sink lots of time into it.
Fireblend said:Brodieman: Finish PW2. Play PW3. And for what it's worth, Professor Layton is also great, but I personally prefer the PW series, and since you already started it, would be a shame to not play through the games (specially since the last game's ending is so rewarding).

Tell me about this one.TheGrayGhost said:Unless the "towl-trick" works

soldat7 said:Not by a long shot. It's incredibly frustrating getting souls in Dawn of Sorrow; I'm grinding like there's no tomorrow. I also don't like the weapons as much and weapon forging is really really lame. Strangely enough I'm not a fan of managing a second equipment/soul set with Doppelganger...Lots of micro-management and tedium in this game. And don't get me started on the Magic Seals...ugh..
I do enjoy the increased difficulty level and the better graphics...can't say the same thing for the music though...I think it was a mistake playing this one so close to Aria...I did the same thing with God of War II (after playing God of War) and have the same feelings about that game...

braves01 said:Right before OoE came out decided to go on a Metroidvania spree, but I decided to play Aria of Sorrow last, so my impressions of the other games wouldn't be warped by AoS' supposed greatness. I have to admit, however, I didn't find AoS that awesome. Surprisingly, I found both CotM and HoD to be the absolute ****, while AoS and DoS were just meh and PoR was the clear outlier (on the down side).
xSL4INx said:You're absolutely right. HoD was/still is terrible
braves01 said:You misunderstand me. I think CotM and HoD are the shit, i.e. awesome.
