that marriage proposal. Tomoya I'm so proud of you ;_; Actually that entire scene was really well directed from animations to lighting and backgrounds. On another note, I just noticed none of Tomoya's friends have made any significant appearances after the graduation and it's probably for the best. Since instead of focusing on their silly reactions and whatnot, the anime is dealing with real problems of Tomoya trying to be independent and it's just much more satisfying to watch.

Honestly from what I've seen so far, Renton is totally deserving of the crap he's getting. I mean they are being a little too mean but the dude seriously needs to stand up for himself.
Early on, yeah, but I do think they cross the line a little down the road.
We don't know if those screencaps were filtered and/or came from the same episode so they're not really that useful and do require further comparisons. And even then both sets of screens show compression artefacts from bit starving which aren't present in the JP BD's.
Don't get Esura'd.

Thank you for your explanation. I wish the quality control for U.S. anime releases was better than it is right now so we consumers did not have to rely on other consumers to rate the quality of the product.

I'm like 4 minutes into episode 6 and Eureka apparently doesn't care that the kids drew shit all over a room and on Renton... okay. Also this guy apparently doesn't even have the balls to tell her that they are tormenting him. Jesus Christ.
He got Esura'd.
I'll just tell you right now. You hate it.
I can't even bring myself to finish the series and I'm halfway through the third season.

Certainly if you can't tell whether you like it, you most certainly don't. Me...its one my favourite anime things ever.
God that hula dance was like, assault on the eyes.
For me, it's not so bad that I'll drop yet. I'll force myself to finish the series if it stays at least this level of quality

In all honesty, though, I'd recommend you give Monogatari just a little more time. I hated Nisemonogatari, but I think Neko and SS are both good, especially SS.
I have to admit that it has pretty good characters though. Shinobu and Hachikuji<3
It hasn't done anything so horrible to make me drop it, so I'm finishing up episode 11 and moving on to the next season.
What's up with the naming conventions in this series, anyways?

I actually can't think of a character in the show that I hate. The closest one is Kanbaru and that's just because I don't like her character design.
