Future card Buddyfight Episode 15: Dragons Duel! Journey of the Tiger! (engDub)
Team Rising Tiger v Team Balle du Soleil through some friendship backstory and tears. Best two episodes back to back seriously because of the fighting and focus on Noboru and measurable character growth from the start. Noboru this episode was incredible. The writing for the english dub dialogue was hilarious with the modern word usage and some of the lines. Its an experience especially with the voice, "for realz."
Team Rising Tiger's teamwork to deliver one of the best combos thus far built upon the new card acquired and used last episode as well as key cards like slash strike dragoslasher gave him the most damage dealt in one turn potentially reward
sad that he couldnt defeat Gao due to that hi-ougi he always uses/
cried hard for their departure. The anime wont be the same without Noboru around he was the one I most related too even.
Is there any particular reason that Amazon wants $60 for the second half of Robotics;Notes, yet both parts of Psycho Pass can be had for the same price?
I didn't watch these all back to back but am just commenting on them as a group now.
Gintama
Episode 72
It was nice to see Ketsuno Ana again. I was wondering what had happened to her as it's mentioned she was getting married and Gintoki was upset about that since he has a crush on her. She just sort of disappeared though so I was wondering if we were going to see her again. Since I'm only watching this now and it originally aired in 2007, I was wondering if maybe something had happened to the seiyuu perhaps that I was unaware of. Now I wonder what happened to the other girl as she's just sort of disappeared.
Episode 73
The way the bear just bows its head at the end seemed kind of heavy. Kind of abrupt as well as it was just trying to claw him apart a few seconds before. Typical Gintama I suppose where things start out silly but get serious by the end.
Episode 74
I would have figured it was Hasegawa who would have some immunity to the whole "unibrow zombie" thing given what had happened to his character during the run of Gintama, so maybe he'll catch a break? Haha.
Episode 75
Gintama is another one of those shows where you don't skip the recap episodes. This was pretty fun. To show scenes that had already happened but to have the different seiyuu's voicing different characters but still in character as themselves was pretty funny and entertaining.
The Yagyu Story Arc (Episodes 76-81)
Concerning Kyubei's character I figured they pretty much gave it away with
the ending showing all the guys with their shirts off but Kyubei had wrappings around her body like a girl would to hide her bust. That and she has more of an androgynous look and voice as well.
The different showdowns were pretty funny and unorthodox which made them pretty entertaining to watch. I saw people commenting on the bathroom showdown episode a few times now and it was both funny and just weird and disgusting at the same time. It looks like the photo of
Kyubei got ruined.
Nice surprise to get a bit more backstory on some of the Shinsengumi guys as well.
Overall it was interesting to see them have a character such as Kyubei and the issues around that. Given Otae's normal demeanor it was a bit of a surprise to see her outright
HNNNG that opening. I think I liked the last two songs a little more, but the visuals in this one are unmatched and ultimate hype.
Awesome episode. DP's doing a fantastic job with the adaptation so far, and it's nice to see something resembling an animation budget! I loved how the color palette during the fight completely switch for the finale. It's a very Jojo thing to do.
I hope the theories about this being more than 26 episodes to fit in all of Part 3 are true! It really feels like they're not rushing (to good effect).

So far they aren't too much behind the OVA in terms of pacing, which is nice. If there's more actual material to cover I certainly wouldn't mind a longer treatment, but only as long as they try to move a bit quicker than some parts of Battle Tendency.

I haven't seen the OVAs, but I do recall hearing that they cut out a lot of stuff. Stardust Crusaders is a lot longer than Part 1 and 2, although on the other hand it wouldn't suffer horribly from some tightened pacing. We'll see!
In which Fujiko gets punched in the face AKA this was actually a really cool episode that managed to give Fujiko a much more interesting backstory than the crap they pulled in The Woman called Fujiko Mine.

Haikyuu!! has thus far had the most promising start in terms of delivering on the key points for what an episode one ought to do. As a reader of the source material early in its lifetime, I believe the source is strong so in the coming weeks for the chapters they are adapting it will become the strongest and best anime of the season due to the excellent matches they shall adapt.
Mahouka for second best, but thats from the viewpoint of knowing the events thats coming, though which may start in episode 3, so give it a try.
I've enjoyed One Week Friends, The World Is Still Beautiful, and Baby Steps. Heard good things about Haikyuu and SIdonia, but haven't watched them yet.
Haru declaring her determination to survive despite knowing all along that everyone's out to kill her, and then Tokaku committing completely to protecting her in front of everyone
. It was fairly obvious from the start that this would be the dynamic, but I wasn't expecting the positions to be made quite this clear this soon.

Some decent gags this episode, and nano/hakase are still cute. Show is kinda running out of steam at this point though.
GREAT ED song this ep though
I don't know what to think about this. Sure it's by FMP guy. But if I'm not mistaken the guy who did Rurorin Kenshin did a recent work that's pretty lackluster in comparison.
First impressions of the dub voices for Date a Live are not good. But I'm going to at least try and reserve my final judgement until the crucial scenes for the cast (Tohka's date with Shido, Kurumi going apeshit).
I thought that said "one episode only for volume one", and presumably two for the rest like always, but apparently not. I've never seen a release strategy like this before except for OVAs - and those rarely are that long.
