Pre-ordered the game since February. I's going to be my first Wii-U buy of the year (3rd game of the system). This promotion is great since I would have never bought Pikmin 3, but free? I'll give it a try. And then I'll also plan to get Wind Waker HD for the summer, I really want to see how much of an improvement it is from GC.
I was so close of selling the WiiU and canceling the pre-order last month when I got the Ps4. I'm really glad I didn't.

I can only imagine the conversations at NOA that led to this pathetic list. They had to be fully aware that their most "loyal" customers already have a majority of these 4 games - or just probably don't want them. I get that the Wii U is doing worse in Europe, but that's no reason to treat the NA customers poorly.

It's a great deal, though the NA selection still leaves something to be desired. I'll get NSMB for multiplayer, but I'd really rather take Nintendoland, Wonderful 101, Monster Hunter, or even Donkey Kong (though that'd be sales suicide).
Hopefully other retailers have additional bonuses for buying MK8. Maybe 50% another WiiU title? Gotta unload that stock somehow.

I've been patiently awaiting a price drop on Pikmin 3 and was planning on picking up MK8 day one anyway, so this deal is working pretty nicely in my favor.

I don't mind the small list of games for US players. The fact that we're getting this deal shocks me.
Since the download version isn't standalone, they probably wanted to avoid confusion.

On the MK8 Bundle thread it ended with me talking about digital copies, and this is exactly what I had in mind. They cost the company nothing and are a great way to add value.
I guess that some people will still think the bundle is too expensive...
Anyway Deciding between W101 or Wind Waker...Maybe Pikmin but never played any of them. Leaning towards Windwaker but I could also get WW for Gamecube or just emulate it. hmmmm

Demo isnt that good, watch the tutorials on youtube on how to work the mechanics better. Nintendoland can prob be had cheaper elsewhere so its how much you dont want tw101
I still haven't gotten over the next gen tax. It's pretty easy to avoid, most of the time.
But really, I don't own many Wii U games (and most of them were gifts) so I forgot that Nintendo started pulling the same garbage with their new system. Tropical Freeze was $50!

Every console plus PC. I mostly stick to PC and pick up the best console exclusives on sale. Nintendo doesn't do the sale thing, though.
