I love Capcom but my expectations are so low for them that it's impossible for me to get hyped.

Neither are likely, but MH is far more likely than DQ. At this point the 3DS is the only platform that makes sense for the next DQ.

Why ? MH was on the PS2 and PSP ?
Series sells the most in Japan and on handhelds.
Handheld entries are also dirt cheap to make in comparison to a new console entry.

I can actaully see it happening. At least the PS4 one.
Wii U seems to be a no go since the PS4 market share is already higher so the most logical step would be is to release a console iteration on the one with the largest market share and traction to the Japanese audience which is obviously the PS4.
It's actually even better if they can have a foot hold on the platform this early in the gen.

DR3 was published by Microsoft, it's very unlikely that it'll come to PS4 unless Capcom does a Dead Rising collection in the future and includes it.
The most logical step for Monster Hunter is to not leave 3DS or make ultra cheap HD ports to Wii U, since the audience is there. A new expensive HD game exclusive for a console which is doing shit in Japan like PS4 would be money wasted.

I agree but only until after a year more or 2. If the PS4 can't take off during that time in Japan, I don't think Capcom will do a release on PS4 anymore.
I'm cautiously optimistic.

If this is the only way I'm gonna get a dedicated mercenaries game, then sure, bring it on.
If I could unlock everything in game by grinding + couch co-op, I'd be down as fuark for this

The same studio has made all the Dead Rising games after the first one and the third one was on the chopping block without a platform holder stepping in. I would love some more Dead Rising though.

if it is possible to grind it out, I'm game. The sp has been pretty bad.
anyway, capcom - Sony collaborations tend to be underwhelming.

With Mighty No. 9 in the works, I'm not as desperate for a new Megaman game as I used to be, but I'd still like one.
Otherwise, it'd be great to see more Devil May Cry. I wouldn't be totally disappointed if it were Resident Evil, but, my expectations for the game would be quite low, given how poor RE6 was.

I know some folks were hoping after the Darkstalkers tweeting that it referred to this but I think it actually referred to a card/board game thing that Jascogames is doing that is coming out the end of July.

Before DmC flopped they were talking about wanting to release another Devil May Cry in 2015, who knows if that's still the case.
